Hi Roy. Very nice work mate. I might be a country boy at heart and prefer to run the country routes, but that doesn't stop me from really appreciating what you've created. Awesome, well done mate.
Cheers,
Baz.

Thanks for the comments Baz.
I appreciate it mate.
Cheers,
Roy

Continuing on from my screenie before of Spencer St: A lot has changed in only 3 years. The Olympics came to Melbourne, and we did it well. The blue revolution has begun on the Victorian Railways, with serious changes beginning to occur. The B class diesel fleet has since been supplemented by the flat top T, and 2 can be seen hidden in the screenshot below. The "New" S Class: 18 D-E Bulldogs' arrival is imminent, and the 4 Pacific type steamers have been scrapped and relegated to history. A whole lotta steamers have been occupying storage roads as the T and B classes take over both their goods and passenger services. Also in the screenshot is the rear end of an outbound Harris, another symbol of the incoming 'Bluvolution' and a 2 Car Tait train is hidden behind the (once hugely important) coal stage: servicing the lightly laid inner circle line. A standard gauge (4ft 8.5") link to the nation's capital and Sydney is expected to be built in 1960, and completed a couple of years after.

X32 and a D series locomotive are currently in Melbourne's big coal stage, taking it on after servicing the Bendigo line and the Daylesford line respectively

G'day All,
Good shots Ghosty, looks like a nice route.
Roy, magnificent work on the city circle, much better with the bridge.
Love the shot of Spencer St Jamie and the story behind it. It certainly was a busy place in its day.

T379 on a local goods at Barnawartha in the late 70's. By 1982 the yard was reduced in size and freight rationalization meant the goods shed was soon to close, with the station having the platform road removed in 1984 it soon followed.

Hi Graeme, Thanks for the comment. Great track-work mate and good ballast matching, very natural.

Cheers,

G'day everyone. I now have 92kms of the mainline textured and basic detailing almost done out of 391 kms on the main. Track is laid to Chiltern and just a bit north of Henty. Been setting trackmarks and playing with AI along with trying to get configurable speed boards to work properly.
Just a few shots in the late afternoon testing some environment settings.
N class with Albury bound Pass. just out of Barnawartha.

Its a nice little map from my old home town of Newcastle, it will cover the Passenger run from Newcastle to Belmont, and will cover the coal run from the entrance of the steam era Port Waratah through to the various loading points along the Belmont Line. The Actual Belmont Line covers 15.5kms and its set in the period just before 48 class locos and the big CXD BHP hoppers and large capacity loading bins. There are a couple of pieces of content i hope in time someone can build for me, the old black and white timber booms with steel skirting, seems every controlled level crossing seemed to have them between Market St and Adamstown.

G'day everyone,
Been some very nice shots lately, especially of the VR and V/Line trains which I have a huge soft spot for.
Almost finished basic detailing in Henty, just grass and a few trees left to do before I start texturing north again. I've now got track laid to The Rock and almost to Springhurst ready for a texturing binge.

A few shots around Henty
