Australian screenshots

School holidays has allowed me to work on an non-fictional route,

Lucky you, I have just started term 2 and will have to endure 11 more weeks of it, yay... not, so I will have to wait a while for some proper progress on my new route I'm working on.

Hi hewi12. Wow! If that's a WIP can't wait to see the finished product. I agree with Mick, you've got a really good eye for taking screenshots with great effect. Very nice work mate.
Cheers, Baz.

LZ3112 & LZ3114 await to depart from the Summit with an Aurizon Freighter.

Hi Everyone, some great shots as usual. Some more from me, not quite the quality that Hewi can produce though.

Goulburn-Murray lines is in the process of being extended. Detailed to Tallygaroopna and track laid to Shepparton on the main and almost to Pine Lodge on the Dookie branch. I haven't decided yet whether to head north from Dookie to Katamatite yet, but it looks likely.

Cheers,
Graeme.

What route is that ozzmo?

Cheers
David

Hi David.

It's pgibbins Griffith route created back for 2006 with all four sections merged. Peter was kind enough to give me the ok to turn it into a fictional (not DEM) VR route, which i'm doing, along with the scenery. I've always thought the layout was too good to leave gathering dust, even if it meant changing it from NSW to VR. It'll be mainly grain from Kulwin and Wycheproof to Dunolly.
While I've got you, very nice work on the locos too mate.

Cheers,
Baz.

Hi Stefan, the nice looking gum trees are st_rmm_evkalipt 22 27 30 & 35 metre gum trees from the dls, bushes in towns alongside tracks and in house yards are kust (bush) also by rmm. Easiest way to find them is to do a category search in content manager for flora and then sort by version number. Theres heaps of rmm and clam trees for TANE and more off dls by oleg khim and pofig conversions, but downloading from .ru sites can be like playing russian roulette with your PC.
Cheers,
Graeme

I take it (VB) that means Vinnybarb? If that is the case, I hope he's in a happy place. Wherever you are mate, thanks for all the content you created over the years. My condolences to his family and friends.

Baz.

Having learned of Vinnybarb's passing, I followed Jamies lead and posted some tribute shots. Sorry vinny for the lack of scenary but this is what I was working on at the time.

Whilst not unusual to see DL class locos on Southern Coalies, it is for them to lead. Out of respect to the passing of Vinny, the DL's built in the Vinnybarb Locomotive Works were marshaled to lead the train all the way to Port Kembla.

Rest in Peace Vinny, thankyou for your contribution to our community.
