Australian screenshots

Hi Dave,

That little shunter.... is that a turbine on the end so it can jump into warp speeds or hyperspace :P

I suspect it's a design they put into the radiator fan to get a higher volume of air at low speeds, this is the first time I've seen such a design.

Cheers.

Aaron I think you'll find that loco is meant for use in a steelworks or foundry - the exhaust fan is naturally needed to indeed improve airflow into the engine for use in such high-temperature environments (I read an old Aussie train book back in high school which showed a BHP loco circa mid 60's at the Newcastle steelworks which looked very similar to that design, and gave that above explanation). But Dave would be able to clarify or confirm that. :) It's a cute loco either way. :D

Spot on

But jet turbine sounds better lol

Nice screenshots everyone!

Just wanted to say that I just added the driving trailers for the K set on the website as well, as there was an issue with them before.

Next up to release is the A set

With the quality of the Tangara's and the Silver sets I can't wait for the Waratah's to be released!

Since I got the Phoenix Foundry Book I've been slowly working on this loco again, the book has a very nice high resolution photo which makes it easier to follow the frames, running boards, wheels and paint work, still lots of detail to add, I just wanted some paint on it as it's been white since 2011, lol

Cheers.

A motorist got a Flatty, but soon realized his jack was missing, the railways sent No. 3 Damage Control as it was a few minutes out.

Something new and different I am working on, the Great Northern Railway. I'm doing the Glen Innes - Wallangarra section currently.

Anyway, A C36 Class member hauls its train over one of the grades near Tenterfield.

Same train again, approaching Bluff Rock.

Hi all

I'm just asking if anybody could tell me how to made custom buildings, I was planning to make a Cityrail type station.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't think Australian screenshots is the only thread on these whole forums, or internet for that matter. If you can't find the information yourself, you don't have the initiative or independence to build your own custom content.
