What Container wagons are they

Cheers,
Patchy
Hi Patchy

There V/Line VQFY recoded to RQFF after V/Line leased them to Natonal Rail Corporation from 1994 and 1995, other V/Line Wagons to be leased to NRC are VKEX>RKEX, VQCY>RQCY, VOBX/VOCX>ROBX, VOSX/VCCX>RKCX, I hope to be able to fill in some of the early NRC assets in trainz, I find that's there's a lack of NRC content.

Cheers.

G'day Zec

The amount of time and detail you go to just makes me go WOW! I was just wondering how you keep the pollys so low? Its unbelievable the detail and I know I will buy it.

Cheers

To a degree, I don't :) The highest LOD is made mainly to look good. The locomotive is generally the focus of the scene, so needs to be quite detailed IMO. However, it drops the polys fairly quickly. The lowest LOD is about 107 triangles, and comes in at ~1100m (well, not counting the lack of attachment culling, and renderCutOff functions for LOD in TANE; which makes it somewhat higher for the moment...).

How did you get the smoke to have that night effect? It's very realistic.

Hi Rexhunt

It's secret magic ;) :P

Well, actually, it's a bit of trickery in photoshop; using a multitude of frames from a video overlayed together to form the 'long exposure' look. It doesn't capture all of it too well; but it's a fun idea to play with :)

Nice work Tom! :) That livery does rather suit the Y class :)
