Ghosty: Just a tip for your bridges. Go into the trackside accessories tab and type in 'track ends'. There are two different colour ballast ends so that your tracks don't have a hard, sharp end on them.

Thanks, it is one of the last things i have to do thought i would show off the route a little its almost complete have a few people checking it for any loose ends that i have missed.

Cheers

Two 81's roar through Jacaranda Flats with an empty steel train

My mate had experience photographing this train and suggested that he should stand further down the tracks as there was no hope of chasing her after she passed....He was right.

The wonders of photoshop....:p
The worst part is trying to blur everything evenly WITHOUT blurring the telegraph poles etc....alot of pixel by pixel work there:eek:

I reckon a blurred shot of the engine but the background and foreground are in focus can be good or the vica-versa even better to show speed.

Serves Bob right for using a film camera and not looking at what film he picked up...:p At least his shutter is fast though:o...

The wagons on the back aren't a familiar sight either I don't think:p

You guys convinced me.
I am now a fan of: NSW, VR, and QR railways.
question...?
Where can i find some awesome 3rd party NSW VR and QR custom content and routes?
Thanks,
Sean
EDIT: Realising there are several Austrailian Railway companies, some of which i didn't even know existed, i guess i will just have to search for them all.
Cheers!

Alright then ...... here's the 1st of our 44's :D

Hot DAMN those look fine!

You guys really have been cooking up some good stuff! 45's, 44's, 442's! Some great early NSWGR diesel power on it's way! Plus those fantastic grain hoppers! All we need are some non-airconditioned coaches, and we're sorted :P.

But seriously, those are some very realistic looking 44's :D

Davido/Natvander, if you don't mind, what layout are you using for your sample screenies?

Is it the one Nat was working on for quite a while (the far west line, I can't remember much more but he was working on custom items for the layout, such as stations and signals), or is it a new layout?

I'm just interested, as Davido made a comment a little bit ago saying how good the layouts made his locos look, and he's right - the Wadalbavale Line really highlights the quality of the rolling stock, and it's a similar style I've been using on my layout, to try and emulate the same effects (ie, while it doesn't look like real life, being a 3d graphics game, it still looks realistic and pleasing).

Thanks guys, and keep sharing the screenies. May not be as good as mine (see, I'm modest :hehe:), but keep up the good work.

:D

:udrool:mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Goodwin Alco 44 looks awesome. great job on a great loco David cant wait to get hold of that little beauty.
