Hi All,

I have been having problems posting screenshots here lately. I am able to post the screenshot but it will not show up on the forum page or thread. I know of other people that have had this issue an if I can get it fixed ASAP, that would be great.

Nice work everyone, Still early day's here for me with only one platform done this route building caper takes for ever.

I love the little extra signs and pieces, it really adds to the affect. :)
What we are missing, is some slightly more modern lights for NSW stations. The yellow ones are good for older stations though.

Did you mean the small platform rex ? There is a support under it but as i cant find any other platform close enough to the real thing this will have to do till i can work out wether to make all the platforms or just do with whats out there.
If thos platforms came with just a plain old concrete texture on top they would be near on perfect, And yeah Taggy we need sum modern style platform light poles along with sum newer type Cityrail signs.

I think both modern CityRail and old SRA objects would be great. Things like the older red bins, seats, signs and lamp posts for SRA days and Silver painted of the latter for more modern looking items.
Also, a number of different signs. The ones thebigman did are fantastic and are a perfect for any modern day CityRail layout but we lack a lot of older style objects. We also have the modern looking platforms from Deadly but we lack the older style brick platforms for the SRA days.
I just wish I was able to get my head around making these objects, I'd have them all done!! lol ;)

I don't think making the small stuff is the hard part Taggy it's more so the rules keep changing on whats wanted now day's and with minimal help around then it's a lot of trial and error. I just make this stuff for myself now day's as it has no LOD no spec or no season changing snow crap on it which is what will be required soon. Plus i don't have time to drive 600klm to get sum good pic's to use as textures so i make do with what i can mate. Here's platform 1 Tarro.
I'll never be able to get it too look 100% so i have to be happy with what i can and i am pretty chuffed with it so far.

I see. That's a good insight into creating stuff as I have absolutely no idea about the process. :)
If you are interested in doing some items, I might be able to help you out by finding info and photos. I was able to help out on the large fleet of Sydney Sparks by Pete/Dave and I'm more than willing to help you out if you'd like. The only thing is, trying to find good quality pictures of the older style signs etc.

I reckon the station looks awesome mate. I only ever saw these platform as a blur belting along working on board the XPT. lol

Hi littlebondi,
I Had the same issue when I changed my internet browser to 'explorer 11',must be something buggy going on there with the compatibility with this forum.Only had the issue here & not on other forums I use?

changed over to goggle chorme last night and problem has resovled itself:eek:.

these screenshots are just great. but does anyone know were i can get some good australian locomotives and rollingstock without using the download manager cause its such a pain
 
G'day lewisandbutch,
If you go to the online DLS (http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS.php) sign up with your username an search an item you will find loads of cool stuff made my the users around this section of the forum. When you think you've found one you like you can click 'Download Page'. A separate window should open with two options, Download and Download (FTP). Clicking the (FTP) version will let you download and save the file as a CDP onto your hard drive. Next, open Content manager and go 'File -> import CDP'. find where you saved the file and in you game it goes. :)

Hope this helps, a nice alternative to the CM DLS
