Australian screenshots

Umm urrrr, why doesn't someone start one in say The General Trainz section say "Australian Chit Chat" and just give a brief outline of what the thread should be about.
Whats wrong with chatting where we are right here ?, It's Aussie and it's also a Sceenshot Area so i'm all for keeping it as is. Those who don't like it know where the door is.
Mick.

Video does nor play in the forums for me
nice but you could have taken the time to setup the set Numbers and car Numbers ?

The New Newcastle City Beach Line "opens" before it "opens".
(Just watch out for those certain developers though!)

The first station it arrives is Newcastle, and that platform 2 should read platform 6 - and please ignore that the overhead wires are not shown, or that the pantograph may hit the roof!

Matruck, thats a great shot, may I ask what coal hoppers you are using, as they seem to be 3' 6" gauge?

If it hasn't been done already and if people want it, I can start the aussie chit chat thread, just where would i put it.

Some from me this afternoon.
These are purely fictional

In the 1990s, the railways required a locomotive which could handle the trans continental railway line more easily, with freight and the now 20 year old Indian Pacific service. The solution was the NR class locomotive. These new locomotives could handle the tough conditions of the trans continental better than the current CLP class. The new NRs also carried the new Indian Pacific blue livery.
Due to the locomotives being new, two were required and both were trialed on the Wattle Creek, Hally River section of the Trans Continental railway line.
The train was first seen approaching Wattle Creek at 5:26 am in the morning of the 21st of March, 1998.

1.

2. Indian Pacific, seen entering Wattle Creek Yard.

3. Indian Pacific, seen at the platform of Wattle Creek.

Steaming away from a busy Healesville yard...

Also been playing around with a new script idea on the flat wagons... Yep, these now have scripted lashing ropes for specific loads (note, they'll be 'fitted' to the loads, so will only work with specific loads). Still tinkering, but I think it's a workable idea for 'common' loads (e.g. logs, lumber, and a few other things). :)

New G Class units ready for d/load from the DLS...

Hi you learned Oz community (others too), I got my mojo back for creating (for the time being anyway). Finally I uploaded 4 new G Classes yesterday for approval and this morning the DLS approval message said "available within 24 hours". The 4 different late version G Classes are The Freight Australia version (click the thumbnails please):

the VLine version:

A Pacific National version with big side numbers:

and without the big number on the side:

with very detailed bogies:

and other high details seen here:

These G Classes have scripted auto numbering and as said, are very highly detailed to my usual standard of creating. Just looking at the PN version without the big side number in the screen shot above, it looks like I left its metal number board accidentally off as it is not visible on that screen shot. I will endevour to upload a revised version of it as soon (tm) as possible.

I have already started on version 2 of the G Class, which will be the basis for the BL Classes I will create. Thinking of the ANR green/gold, Aus National, PN and SteelLink versions for the BL Classes and then switching back to more G Classes like the SCT, QRN, SSR and possible 1 or 2 others further down the line, health permitting.

*Edit: I forgot to say, these G Classes are ONLY for TS12 (3.5), they also have scripted driver and lights/ditch lights/marker lights changes to direction traveled, change (in cab view) to the relevant cab according to direction traveled, ditch lights flashing and beer dispensing in cab (not really :p). They show a "heat haze" over the fans and pulsating exhaust smoke when idling.

There will NOT be any earlier TS versions of these G Classes made by me as TS 12 is really now the standard Trainz version one should use and scripting of my script used for the earlier versions of TS does not quite work the same there as it does for TS12. Beside, presently N3V Games/Simulator Central are selling TS12 for under $30.

Just uploaded the revised CDP of the PN G Class with the metal number boards on the side, as I accidentally left these off when making the first CDP now on the DLS. The latest version of it has a kuid:xxxx:xxxx:2 number.

There you have it, payware quality still created as freeware, ENJOY.

Thanks ya gota love those QR Electrics i just wish Kents Route was about 300 klm longer to make a decent QR Electrified Coal Route.
Cheers Mick.

Oh, Did you edit Kents Brisbane Valley Branch? I thought it could possibly be that and just thought it may be the North Coast or something due to the electrics. Well another 300km is coming in Map 2, Toogoolawah - Yarraman, something I look forward to.

-cheers

Yeah sorry LittleBondi i should of said i added the Overhead myself LOL, I did see on one corner of Kents Route you can merge it with another so maybe he is working on the next one.
Cheers Mick.:)

These have just now been uploaded a few minutes or so ago by N3V Games onto the DLS to d/load. Yes, I know, if N3V Games say "24 hours", that will be their interpretation of 24 hours by them. In reality, this has been more than 36 hours ago, when I received the "24 hour" email.

Cheers
