Personally,

I can see merit in both side's views here.
Vinny, if I need to ask a question or need help, I always come here first as this is the thread that most of us Aussie's visit on a regular basis. We are a very knowledgable bunch and normally very helpful.
Dave, I must also agree that back and forward conversations between two fellas should really be via PM. Posting updates and shots of your creations is great, please don't stop that. Asking or an answering questions isn't really a big crime but if it's a continued conversation, a PM would be better.

I would support a General Aussie chatting thread but if we are not to receive it, I don't see why we can't use this thread for both.

Just my take on things.

Those pigs look nice, you really need to put TC3 engine sounds and engine specs on them though, they don't run too good or sound too good in TS12 while driving them, it's hard to get boiler pressure.

I apologise to anybody in advance who is not happy with general chit chat in a screenshot thread while I answer Mr Azervish.

I never run trains in cab mode - I was looking for trainz specs that were on the DLS and ran I think the 36's sounds ok - if you have suggestions for a better sound or engine spec file that is on the DLS and you feel works better in TS12 let us all know.

Too much detail around the window frames maybe?

An idea I also want to try on the mirrors is to have them part of direction monitor so they move based on train heading and use m.tbumpenv so they'll reflect the sky on them.

Umm urrrr, why doesn't someone start one in say The General Trainz section say "Australian Chit Chat" and just give a brief outline of what the thread should be about.

(Just watch out for those certain developers though!)

The first station it arrives is Newcastle, and that platform 2 should read platform 6 - and please ignore that the overhead wires are not shown, or that the pantograph may hit the roof!
