Australian screenshots

Thanks Jamie. Not bad for being thrown up in a couple of hours lol. Still lots of adjusting to do. Hopefully now that I've got everything back together on the computer after a couple of crashes, I'll be back and I might get some of this to a beta stage.

Following the success of getting the HGM working in Trainz, I decided to try repairing a previous attempt and got carried away revising the mesh:

Hi Jake,

That Jungle shot is awesome, too bad we can't set the efficiency of the rail to make it slippery when locomotives pass through there, it'll make it more realistic on handling as you get leaves and moisture on the rails.

Cheers.

Looking forward to those Dave, great shots everyone, reminds me of Leadville Patchy sitting on the porch of my great great grandmothers house at Leadville watching the steam trains go by, it didn't happen very often , I remember it well seems like only yesterday, I would sit there with my great uncle Bert Abbott, for those who remember Bert was a brother to a boxer [ iron man Abbott or also called Darkie Abbott ] who would be my Grandfather.

Nice memories
Had to see where Leadville was
Seems like a train has not been through there for a long long time

Cheers,
Patchy

Great shots Patchy. That track does look good. is that StD Gauge?
The TSM track that is included with TS2012 (Built-in) seems to be a broad gauge.

Regards
Hi Axe,
As far as i know it is STD gauge
If you search TSM Track In CMP there is lots of it by different creators

Cheers,
Patchy

The Blue Bomber Arrives!

G, day Everyone,

Today I have finally received my new toy. The Blue Bomber also known as C17 #967 in her Beaudesert Rail livery. She is a beautiful loco and I wish to thank Michael [ Trainz89 ] For building her for me. I did a test run from Pimpama - Oxenford and then Back to Pimpama on the South Coast Line. She will be a great loco for me to run and take screenshots of on my 2nd route "Beaudesert Rail". So I hope you enjoy the screenshots.

The Blue Bomber also Known as C17 #967 approaches Coomerah.

Arriving at Oxenford.

Just before Pimpama on the nothern side, C17 #967 runs tender first towards Ormeau.

I hope you have all enjoyed. I will post some more screenshots soon.

-Cheers

As some people have asked me re progress of the DL Class I am presently working on and off, without further ado:

These 3 units are still Work In Progress, so not quite finished yet. The green/gold AN DL Class will have either yellow and black bogies. I seem not to getting motivated as much as I should, either it is my health that is causing this or something else.

Cheers

What crossing gates would you be using there Azervich

Cheers,
Patchy

Hi Patchy,

There Semi beta gates and will eventually make there way to the DLS when I'm happy with them and get LOD's done, they are between 6k to 12k polygons so LOD's is a must have, this gate in the image below is an outstanding 14k polygons, highest poly gate built so far, this one was built at Geelong Railway Station 1874 and was abolished in 1912~1915 ish when an under pass for the Electric Tramway towards West Geelong was constructed.

Most of the gates I build are for the Geelong-Warrnambool-Queenscliff route I'm working on as there are 14 gates total on the route to be built, I also build gates for other people as there rather easy and I've got a complete set of gates, all that needs to be done is to build them to the specific street.

I also put them up on Victrainz which are on page one of the Gate Crossing thread under my workshop section for Beta testing and correcting to make sure there perfect, you'll be able to grab them there.

Cheers.
