Nice work everyone!

I've been lurking in the background as usual, but always regularly checking out the Aussie thread!

Anyway heres a preview of my next release. I finally got around to doing the coal variant of my NGHF (of which I released over four years ago now). Still more work to be done; I've never done an animated coal load before so will hopefully get completed sometime in the near future.

The NHHF

Steve,
Great shots mate! How much of the Short North have you done? Keep up the good work!

Matt,

Superb wagons mate, captured them well. They will look right at home behind triple 82's down my Coast Line!! :)

thanks taggy, well done Matt
I have done from Sydney to Gosford finished, roughly Gosford to Newcastle, roughly Straithfield to Dubbo and a little down south, what i really would like to do is build the roads for the Sydney Harbour Bridge i built and set that all up on on the Sydney to Gosford route because that is the only part of the route not completed.

Please understand that the Sydney Harbour Bridge is payware due to the $500.00 cost of the software. It will proberbly be at $20 to $15 Dollars AU and will be able to be installed into Trainz 2009 World Builder and up to TS12
By the way the Sydney To Gosford Route has been finished in TS12 so you will need to buy TS 12 to run the full route, and if you don't have TS12 now and you would like to run this route N3V is have some great sales on now so don't wait.
This route will also make one hell of a multi player route as well. every RSJ in my Sydney Harbour Bridge had to be twisted and turn into its correct position, no copying and pasting so i hope people do like it.
I have also been building the toll booths for the bridge.

The problem is i do run a flower businsess from my home and i am right in the middle of building 2 websites at the same time, a new one for the flowers to which i am hoping will turn international and a new one for my Trainz assets so you people can download whatever you like, i am also open 7 days a week so i am always on call day and night till 8.30pm, so these days my time is limited and this would be why i haven't posted to many pictures lately.

Hi, just to let those interested know, I just uploaded 6 new UGL diesel electrics, 2 of the 5000 Class, 2 of the 5020 Class with Aurizon logo and 2 of the 5020 Class with the old QR National logo. These locomotives should be available in the next few days, depending of AURAN/N3V processing these. These 6 locomotives are for TS12 only with a new, improved script that now works as it should.

A TS09/10 version is to follow shortly but having said that, have you seen the low price currently (for the next 31 hours) for the TS12 Collectors version on Simulator Central? A hard copy DVD with printed manual and other goodies for a shade over AU$ 22.47 smackeroos plus postage. No excuses now to buy one of these versions as this is the FUTURE of Trainz but at the time of writing there is ONLY 1 day and 7 hours left to get one of these. I bought another one a few days ago, which makes it 4 copies I bought since release of this TS12 Collectors version.

Back to the locomotives, a 5020 Class, with QRN logo, clean and VERY coal dusty:

A 5020 Class, with Aurizon logo, clean and VERY coal dusty:

and the 5000 Class, also clean and just a bit dusty:

Enjoy

Guys very impressive work being done by all..

Love the images love the work quality... makes me want to go back and redo my route, to bring it to a much higher quality.

Hi Targanon,
I am sure your route that you are building is is just as good as mine or others routes in many ways just remember you created it and you put in the hours to make it what it is and hats off to for your efforts,
the hole idea of the Trainz forum is to learn and support and advise each other, if you are having any trouble with any asset then let us all know because someone will know how to fix it

The invisable track in the air you saw is for a helicopter that flys from Gosford to Woy Woy meat works and back following the train track, there is also shipping lanes as well.
Make sure you place the turnout where it needs to be first before placing invisable track to it, if you don't you will need to reset the invisable track in to the new position,

sorry for later reply i was over the local club Mingara

ZecRail's DD 560 leads a short mixed down grade toward Mimosa.

Having arrived at Mimosa, DD560 sits in the platform as it prepares to shunt it's train.

After placing the coal wagons at the coal bunkers, the crew place a couple of wagons into the dead end goods siding.

So as to make shunting easier, the crew have made use of the turntable to turn the Z van and B carriage. The U van will then be attached back onto the consist, and then placed into the passenger platform.

Having completed the shunting, the crew service the DD class. The many grades on the line mean that there is a bit of ash to clean out, and some refueling required.

Later in the evening, DD 560 drags the loaded I wagons out of the dead end coal siding.

A short time later, and the DD departs Mimosa with the return mixed.

Further up the hill, and the DD is making it's way easily up the grade, with Mimosa in the background.

Excellent story line there, Zec
Extremely good quality screenshots as well :)
Is that a nice new "old" louvre in the third shot?
Cheers
Rod

Thanks Rod! :)

And the U van isn't that new, it's been on the DLS since April 2012 :) "VR U Van Type 2 - White" (kuid:103475:15024)

Thank you very much Ghosty, I never have seen this livery on the front of a 5000 Class, this version (TS12) should be up at the DLS next week. You don't happen to know if the new front logo is also on the rear?

Cheers

VinnyBarb

Vinny,
From experience, that might depend on whether the painters got around to it or not. It may be that the loco needed some work on that part so the new logo was placed also. We still have locos in the suburban area in original blue livery with maroon decals/logos.
Regards
Glen

I can't speak for the 5000's but the 23/24's they use locally on the island is starting to make a showing of the blend and the new logo is on the front and the rear...

I have ben trying to get your loco's since I saw them posted however My FCT has expired and its taking for ever to get anything... and I'm just not rich enough these days to spend... I'm kicking myself for not just get life when I got the 12 months.. last year....

Oh well I'll just leave the content tool running for ever it may get stuff each time I tell it to start again.. one file at a time...

Vinny,
The word I have is that all logos were changed as each unit was treated like this, I have also heard any QRN branded 6020 class will have the new name retro fitted.

Ghosty
