Australian screenshots

Don't know what is going on but for the last three or so pages, I am only getting 1/3 to 1/2 of matruck and MarkNolan's screenshots. I can only see what is in the top part of the shot. Have tried refreshing several times but nothing changes. Anyone else having this problem? Can't muck around as I have to head off now for an early shift start in the morning. Check back tomorrow.
Thanks
Glen

you cant import it into cmp.
you have to use it in google earth to save the section you want, them you need transdem to downloas the contours onto your pc,
then you put it into the game

Ok I just downloaded hairylegs, google earth and transdem yesterday. I have saved an image of a route that I wan't. Now what do I do. Do I put it i the transdem folder or do I go onto trainz and do something like open something.

"Google" is your friend!

Some searching on Trainz Forums can go along way as well. Also there is a section for Surveyor type of help/info/questions etc ( http://forums.auran.com/trainz/forumdisplay.php?5-Surveyors-Operators-amp-Engineers ) to keep Screenshot section free of technical questions that require a lot of input etc.

These might help you with some video tutorials on Transdem (Refer my statement above to Google.) :- http://forum.transdem.de/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10

Cheers

LittleBondi, that is my picture in your signature line. I do not recall a request to use it. Lucky I placed my name on it in white letters. A copy of this page has been saved.

Re the Texan branch line business you mentioned earlier http://forums.auran.com/trainz/show...inal-Gold-Coast-Railway&p=1096828#post1096828 opening dates and lots of other material on that line found in the ARHS Bulletins with back copies DVDs available for purchase at the website mentioned previously.

Fine I will change the picture. I didn't mean to use it for anything apart from my signature and plus, I didn't know that you needed permission so I don't see much harm done because I didn't delibratly not ask for permission. Oh and what exactly are you gonna do with the page .

Littlebondi, you can't just grab anyone's photo of the net and use it without there permission. It's the same with anything not just photos on the net! You have to be careful because it could cause you lots of trouble.

Hello all,

Fried my new GFX card (dont ask hehe)

But working on a rather old and nearly worn out 250GTS (Pics not great quality alas) I scraped a few pics up of an overhaul (thought it needed more) of a container station on my route.

I purcased 3 brand new Black Caviar Western digital 2TB hard drives last weekend and not one of them will work $170 each they are replacing them. guess someone dropped the box of them, just my luck.

Trent what track is that you are using if you don't mind me asking.
steve

I had one of them, Steve, it also packed up. Lucky I could get it replaced for free but it would have cost $150 to get all my stuff back :(

I got these hard drives to backup all my Trainz assets and routes that i have downloaded over the years so they would be safe, I also wanted a good place to store all my payware and freeware that i have created,

i find it very hard to believe that all 3 brand new hard drives failed and the computers did not detect 1 of them not so much as a disk spinning, but hey tomorrow is a new day, bad luck stevo to have assets on it, that would burn me up and force me to drink from the bottle

Eh, I didn't loose anything too important, all my CDPs can be repacked from CM, but all my PSDs of homemade reskin kits and sketchup meshes of work in progress were a disappointment to loose :(

Hey all,

Y 106 stalled on the 1in50 grade hauling water tenders due to poor fireman not keeping the pressure up.

After waiting for boiler to build driver tries to restart

Only problem with trainz physics is some locos don't slip when there meant too and you can pretty much full thrust from a standstill while sanding.

Cheers.

[QUOTEI got these hard drives][/QUOTE]

Similar thing with me, backed up my gmax meshes before changing pc's, brought up the new pc, cleansed the old one went to transfer the gmax meshes only to find that that about 33% had not been copied across including the 57 and 58 class meshes. So enjoy the 57 and 58 class, as I dont have the meshes for the locos or the bogies anymore and I wont be re doing them.

cheers
pete
