Well I have updated all the D series steamers - now to do the C series - keep an eye on the DLS over the next few days

i have all the sections,
including the never built via recta.
that one was hard.
i had to do it in google earth by reading the gradients until it worked out near what the surveyors had marked.
unfortunately i could never find the full surveyor gradings.
i used what reference they gave in other reports that i found in the state library and went from there
its close though

little bondi
it will be quiet a while until i get to the mt edwards - maryvale section.
i have to finish this to ipswich first, then do munbilla to mt edwards

That Breakfast Creek Road shot is stunning. A real hive activity there in a beautiful atmosphere.

hi all

i finally have it down to 1 missing asset which is being replaced by the maker.
apart from a few missing ground textures which do not show as missing,
but are not there, it is all good

the first screen is coming into Roadvale from Boonah
second is Kulgun station area

third needs a question answered
in it you can see very blurry edges on the rail gravel and the roads.
is it like that usually or is something wrong with 1 of my settings?

Hi Ron,
The shots look fine,noting blurry to me only if i have not got my specs on:hehe:

I see you are doing the route with DEM
I'm just a little curious why have you got these cuttings in the middle of nowhere and not blending in with the country side, it just looks out of place to me
Just a tip, Just raise the area up a bit that needs the cutting then it should blend in

the old pc died before i could get around to that
it is coming as soon as i get time.
i put the cuttings where they should be and then was going to fill them in later.

check the last shot
the edge of the road and the rails seem blurry to me

Are the road and rails blurry when you get close to them,I think it may be the distance of the shot

Do not know if you call it luck or not but have been sitting around on 1 hour stand by so have had some time to sit and stuff around - have been updating Peters/AD602000's NSWGR steamers - this is just quick patching - fixing thumb nails and shadows as required - fixing /installing auto numbering as required and where possible - fixing silly little config issues and not alot more apart form the listed items. I am not doing any mesh editing these are not new models or upgraded models. Altrough the odd model that was a beta and for some reason never made it to the DLS might pop out as part of this process as I have forgotten which ones never made it past the beta stage.

There was a slight hick up in the Z19 porthole cab but the update is now on its way to the DLS

Hope everyone had a great Xmas and have kicked off the New Year with a flying start. No Xmas break for me in Mayne control, the trains keep on running . As always I'm blown away from the quality of work. Patchy, Newstead looks amazing.
I will be releasing the first section of the Southern Main Line to my beta testers shortly. I have decided to break it up so I can get the layout on the DLS as soon as possible.

First section will be Wallangarra to Stanthorpe. Second, Stanthorpe to Warwick. Third, Warwick to Toowoomba. Also I thought of possibly adding the Wallangarra to Glen Innes section as well. I know of an attempt of this route before, but unsure of it's status. If there is anyone south of the border willing to help, be great to hear from you.
