Australian screenshots

Littlebondi, I notice everything is fuzzy on the locomotives, track etc. Have you got the detail settings adjusted right? Is your computer good enough for that?

Hi Trainfan2017,

yes I noticed that the tracks are fuzzy and they have actually been removed on the line and have been replaced due to around the corners they wouldn't curve they could only go straight. I downloaded them fuzzy so when I downloaded them, they were already fuzzy. It was also the angle to that made them a little fuzzy.

Well done LB, your surveyor skills are better than mine! TBH, the ability of learning to use surveyor has never really been my strong point.

Time has come for a God box upgrade. Formatting system, OS will need to be re-installed. Looking in to adding a Corsair Force Series 3 120gb SSD for system performance increase. Boot times alone will drop to 30 - 45 secs with the OS having a good SSD which will no doubt remove some if not all the instability issues I'm experiencing.

May take a week or two to get back to some incomplete projects.

Cheers

Wedge Tailed Eagle

A few shots of a Wedgie flying around. Managed to get the eagle moving in a reasonably realistic way, it moves away and toward the centre at different stages of the animation. This make the eagle speed and slow. Probably nothing that hasn't been done before. Spirals up then down to the start.

102m radius. It's a reversing loop designed for things like the Spirit Of Progress to turn around (at a slow speed obviously)
ive read somewhere that the sharpest VR curves were 80m radius, and the loop won't be taken at any sort of speed whatsoever

Its a 57 and a 58 class both were built to haul loads over the blue mountains - often reffered to as the Mountain classes
the 57 had the most amazing value gear for the 3 cyclinders

Them pair of locos look like a million dollars
Being north of the border what class are they

59's were not here unitl 1952 - and were only just run in when they started to put them aside
Not really a fan of steam engine's but the 59 Class would be my favorite, Probably not the biggest or shiniest i just like them cause they look like they were meant too work.
Mick.

The 59 were something diffrent for NSWGR up to then most Locos followed british designs

fassifern valley route finally being worked on again

hi all

i finally have it down to 1 missing asset which is being replaced by the maker.
apart from a few missing ground textures which do not show as missing,
but are not there, it is all good

the first screen is coming into Roadvale from Boonah
second is Kulgun station area

third needs a question answered
in it you can see very blurry edges on the rail gravel and the roads.
is it like that usually or is something wrong with 1 of my settings?
thanks
Ron

Hi misterchugg,

I think it may be your settings but don't trust and relly on me to much as I have never had this before. Also, When will the Fasifern Valley line be on DLS. Are you also going to do the Munbilla - Warwick section that was also apart of the line.

-Cheers
