A triple header of 5000 Class locomotives, rather coal dusty, with an empty consist on the way to fetch more coal for China's industries:

equipped with Dash 9 bogies, Oz build:

Both 5000 Class locomotive and bogies are still Work in Progress but should be ready in a month or so time.

Happy New Year everybody, I will sign off for tonight and I will have a beer or two or tree or four or....

Currently 1am on the 1/1/2013 here in Perth on the west coast of Oz. Happy New Year! :D

Awesome pics Patchy - Davido's 38's I presume? :D

Incidentally, I've been out of Trainz for a few weeks as I was accepted into the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Alpha Test in mid December so that kind of chewed up most of my spare time. But that's over now so back into Trainzing for me! ^^

*New Year's Resolution - must post pics of my Transperth route, or there will be hell to pay.* ;)

Hi Patchy, these 8300 Class locomotives are completely different to the 9300 Class and and are fairly new units. I tried to get some pictures from RailPage or Flickr, hardly any pictures are available but most important, no GOOD pictures, any pictures, that show bogies, rear, either side clearly etc. Important for creators like me who can not go to the locations where these units frequent, good full 90 degree side on pictures of either side, closeup bogie shots and pics of other items hanging on and off on the 8300 Class are needed for the details but are not (yet) available.

In any case, if I ever get to make the 8300 Class, it will be a long way down the list of what I want to create in the future. I know I am good and fast, but not THAT good and fast :p.

what I haven't made yet are the additional Downer EDi SCT Class type locos like the GWA and PN Classes plus other similar ones,
UGL 6000 Class variants like the SSR, ExStrata XRN Class, GWU, CF Class etc.
5000 Class (in progress, very advanced)
5020 Class (in progress, very advanced)
DL Class (in progress, very advanced)
EL Class (started)
SAR BlueBirds All (in progress, 90% finished)
SAR 900 and 930 Classes
AN Budd RDC (started)
CL Class (in progress)
ALF Class
rework of the old GM Class
Ghan/Indian Pacific/Overland coaches (upgrades of my existing TRS04 ones + new Overland)
SCT rolling stock like HiCubes, well cars, other container wagons and box cars
any other new or old diesel electrics that will tickle my fancy in future
and many more, above are not in any particular order, all (will be or are already partially) made with my usual level of details. Providing I do not run out of time.

Just so you know .

Cheers

HAPPY NEW YEAR! AUSSIE'S!!!

Happy New Year! next month China!

I couldn't sleep at all last night because of all the noise. Argh well I will forget about it. I am going on a fishing trip today and won't be back till Thursday. I hope there's no drunk idiots out on the bay. Maybe I might have to take a shotgun just to shoot up in the air to tell them to not mess with me!.

-Cheers
