can anybody help me with this? i downloaded trainz12 the other day and tried downloading some trains off the dls but most of the stuff i downloaded (mostly steam engines ) don't work. is there a way to fix this?

Yes most errors can be fixed but you need to be giving us a lot more details to work with .
The name of the item its kuid number and the type of error is a good start

also a bit or reading of the forums might help, as the problems you have, some else is bound to have had and and found a fix to it .

well i don't know what the kuid number is but it's for john_sb's 35 steam locomotive

I think your missing the whistle sound it is on the DLS

Once I down loaded it all worked fine in TS12 for me

the missing dependencies are pb15 and k-27 whistle i can't find them anywhere

Love the atmosphere. Glad to see all the rubber tyre road traffic as there is a fair bit there in real life. One vital section is the rubber tyre transfer by bitumen road of all the North QLD PN traffic between PN's standard gauge Acacia Ridge Yard and the PN [QLD] 1067mm gauge yard over at Moolabin near the new Brisbane Tennis center at Tennyson.

Has anyone made a NHEH, QHBH or VAJQ or VAJ steel hopper (the round belly ones) or similar for coal yet and are any of these on the DLS? My DLS searches returned nothing but I think I have seen some screenshots of these here? I need a similar type hopper for some of my screenshots. Preferably with a coal load.

What sort of coal hoppers are used in general in the main coal mining areas here in Oz and where can I find an Australian one on the DLS? There are plenty of the Yankee variety on the DLS but these have all different not needed names on them. I know I could alter the textures on any of these but...... Thank you for any information.

i know theres the ones that look like the QHBH wagons, but there NG, not SG. other then that im not sure if theres any around on TrainZ.

There is a VAJQ hopper on the QDR site in beta form there it works well as i have had use of it for some time testing it. There are also some hoppers by williamg that might fit the purpose that have PN logos on and some QRN type.

None of the "ECP fitted" coal hoppers are avaliable for Trainz, sadly. The NHVF hoppers pictured in Tom's post are probably your closest bet - they fell out of favour a year or so ago, and only seem to be used on the Wongawilli trains. For a few years, they were regulars on Northern coal trains, mostly behind 81/82 Class.

Oh i would say it is the same photo I bet you were thinking that since you had the save function turned off it was protecting you photos
