Ok thanks for the information just for some odd reason it looks like it would have like 5,000 or 6,000 hp based on its size.

DD 584 sits in Koo Wee Rup yard with a ballast train for the under construction McDonalds Track railway...

Later on, we see DD 584 slowly working it's way long the recently constructed track whilst dropping ballast.

Having dropped the ballast, the DD 584 edges it's train back across the freshly ballasted track towards Koo Wee Rup.

Now back in Koo Wee Rup, DD 584 rolls slowly back into the yard.

QR Callemondah Shed

created by willem2,
Does anyone know if that Callemondah shed was there in 1988 or is it a recent build?

The reason for the question is the loco colours that could be used with that Callemondah shed if doing that area pre QRN or QR LTD or what ever it is now called. I was there in June 1988 and all the locos were in the pre 1992 Bronco colours and the coal trains had the pie carts for the mid train locotrol locos.

EDIT; fixed spelling and similar.

Great screenshots everyone, especial when showing off my creations of the SCT/LDP Classes by others :hehe:.

A preview of WiP of the WH Class, just click its little picture:

Well done and thank you :Y:.

Very sorry to hear about your loss Matt, life can be so cruel sometimes.

I have uploaded a small video of a new hornsound I made today to suit Davido's NR Class. Excuse the poor quality, still new to making videos (In game it was nice and smooth at 1920x1080 :P).

If anyone wants me to I can put the hornsound up here so you guys can have a play around with it as well :)

Cheers,
Tom :)
Can I ask what containers they are?

is there a subtle difference with these locos or are they classed by their owners?

Yes, sometimes a little more than subtle. For example the SCT Class had a camera in the rear, the Downer EDi Demonstrators have no camera, WH Class has 2 of them, front and rear. The WH Class has an ECP braking system fitted front and rear of their WH Class locomotives, none of the other Classes have these (AFAIK). Also their weights differ between some of these classes and there are all the different logos and colour schemes.

Unless someone else can point to other differences.

Cheers

Good evening everybody, just a few from my fictional route,

They are the same "model", although with specific requests from the owners for certain abilities. As VB has already mentioned, the differences can be minor or major.

The WH and TT Classes (both operated by PN, although the WH Classes are owned by Whitehaven Coal) are fitted with ECP braking.
The TT Classes are fitted with ballast pods to increase their adhesion (although these are only fitted to some of the locos in the "TTxx" series, the "TT1xx" series are not so fitted)
The WH and SCT Classes have cameras for long-end running.

I'm not sure about any specifics relating to the GWA classes (same model, built for GWA's SA operations).

The same can be said about the GE "competition", the 92, 6000, ACB, GWU, CEY and XRN Classes - all the same basic model, with improvements and modifications as specified by the customer.

Please DO NOT d/load WH_Class_Dirty KUID2:184151:666950:1, which should be available shortly later today, Saturday or tomorrow. I accidentally left an extra LOD mesh in the CDP which makes a d/load larger by a few MBs. Plus I made a few little improvements as well since then. The new CDP WH_Class_Dirty KUID2:184151:666950:2 is already waiting for approval by AURAN/N3V and should be available from the DLS in a couple of days.

A few screen shots of the 3 WH Class locomotives picking up coal in the TS12 Mojave Sub, yeah, I know, this is in California but the route could almost be in Oz, the way it looks, just click the little pics for a detailed look:

Enjoy
