....a new hornsound I made today to suit Davido's NR Class.
I was just about to make one of my own, haha.
VinnyBarb might also be interested in my hornsound that I made for his locos (SCT/LDP/TT/WH/GWA, they all have the same horn). It is here: http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS_downloadasset.php?DownloadID=229042
Now to determine which one sounds better (it will probably be lesley's)
Thank you, will try on the SCT/LDP Class. If I like it, can I have your permission to substitute it in my SCT, LDP etc. Classes? As I still use the old inbuild Alco (I think) horn.
Cheers

Hi good people, I have a favour to ask. Can anyone in the know verify the WH Class blue colours as I only have a few pictures which more or less show the same blue tint as below. As pictures often do not show reality, hence....
I think that would be just the sky reflecting off those certain parts, all the close up shots and videos I have seen of the WH's show it in the exact same scheme as the LDP demonstrators (So roof is all black). I wasn't aware it was a different shade of blue used though, that's quite interesting (as Trent said, they were destined to just be LDP classes, so why would they paint them with a different shade of blue?). Unless they are actually the same colour and different weathering effects have altered their colour? (eg. Black coal dust on the WH's compared to just road grime and general fading due to heat on the LDP's). They definitely look different though.
Another thing I've noticed with the WH's and the TT's (other than the fact that they are heavier than the LDP's), is that there is another indentation/socket on the anti-climbers on the front to the left hand side. Maybe an extra cable or similar to do with coal work?
Again, very nice work Vinny, love the clean looking ones![]()
I've made another video, this time featuring the LDP's and my hornsound:

And a screenshot since it's a screenshot thread

SCT Hirail shunting at the SCT depot.
For anyone who gave those horns a go, they're currently being processed and should be on the DLS soon
I'll have to give yours a go trainman3801, I wasn't even aware there was already one on the DLS!
Cheers,
