happy to send you the mesh if you think it will save you work. pm me with your email address mine focused on the terminus part rather than city circle

Michael,
I have tried on many occasions to send you a PM, but with no success, it says you have chosen not recieve PM's. What is your email adress and I will contact you.

All in time SARRailways,
The redhens, I am having an issue with the bogey animation, otherwise they would be out! The brill needs a huge rebuild! But other projects take priority. Many of the wagons on SAR Trainz website need a complete rebuild. I am the type of person that If I can see areas to improve, I wont upload until the time I don't think I can do any better.

Snip....has there ever been a Sydney Harbour Bridge in any game that you know of ? What im getting at is there one avalible for gaming software anywhere.
steveUnsnip

AFAI remember, a few of the various 3D web sites had the Sydney Harbour Bridge and even the Sydney Opera House for d/load available. I can not recall where this was as it had been a long time ago and I also do not know which 3D format these objects were.

(A bit later after searching...) Google might help you with the right question like this web page here (hint).

Cheers

Yes vinny sketchup does have the harbour bridge, this was the one that some people seemed to think i claimed as my own when i stated clearly that i had only edited it 6 months or so ago,
however the model in sketchup was faulty to the fact where the brick arches on the pylons were only pictures and not the real brick arches, as well as the super structure of the bridge being out of line with the pylon walls which made the train track on one side and the cars on the other side have to bend around in order to get into the arch tunnels of the bridge,

so with these faults in that sketchup design and also due to the statements of some people and an i decided to build the bridge myself and i did,
In a few days Trainz people will be able to have access to a working version of the Sydney Harbour Bridge ?

Thanks for the update. Will be good to use them when they are done. But whatever comes first for you. I'll try to keep from bugging you to much about them, lol.

@ trainz89, The reason for the non show of bogie parts in trs can be twofold
1/ you had the parts that showed up selected in gmax and it only exported those parts.
2/ more likely , as you fiddled with the mesh in gmax changing it to BG you more than likely unattached the missing parts from their associated dummies. I suggest you re apply the the textures first, then starting with the wheels reattach the wheels to their dummies then attach the wheel dummies to b.r.main, then re attach the parts relevant dummies (remember to attach rod dummies to wheels before you attach rods to dummies. Work your way outwards. you should not have to redo dummy properties, just re attach bits to dummies. If you have included cylinders in the bogie dont forget to attach them to b.r.main

Hi Zec,
I must say, I'm impressed with your little chuffers :) but I can't help but notice the lack of shine on the tyres and wonder if a little more reflective material may lift the realism somewhat?

Cheers

Hi David
Thank you, that does mean a lot :) For the shine, there is some shine (using the tbumpenv material), however it's very subtle... And doesn't appear overly clearly at low angles. I'll have a play with the textures when I get a chance, and see if I can brighten the shine a bit :)
