I think the Victrainz VR and Vline S Diesels have disappeared from the DLS
they are not CM V3.2 either
please help i prefer them over auran's s class:confused:

I don't think we ever released any S classes. Pete had an S class in VR I think but apart from the built in stuff thats it...

Wait a second, now that I think about it... there are no V/line S classes besides the built in one:o
I know Zec was updating one... but hes having to much fun with what matters :hehe:

G'day all,

Hope VB would creating 44's class locomotives after bluebird railcars haha....

Are you referring to the Alco DL 500 there? Isn't David Owen doing the 44s? What I would like to do after the LDP derivatives are the XTAs, 9000 Class, some SAR stuff in between, ARG AC and Q Class, the old DL Class (one is currently behind the NR on the Indian Pacific going past my back fence in Peterborough SA 4 times a week), 6000 Class, FQ Class, 8000 Class, PN Class, 5000 Class, CSR Class, QR 2000 Class, GWA Class, TT Class, XStrata XRN Class, possibly the NR Class in an updated version as I have some 600 photos I took of the NR Class when living in Alice Springs, the SAR BlueBirds, all above not in any particular order. And there is always STEAM I wanted to have a crack at too.

What I would like to do or whether I ever get to make any or all of these above is not up to me, I am getting toward 72 years of age and there is only so much time left :hehe:.

I will give it as much time as is possible :p.

Cheers

Yes so much time left..:D interesting about your creating ohhh 600 photos :hehe:.... well I'd like to doing Alco 44s but I can't afford to buy 3D max autodesk cad to design these better realistic 3D locomotives like you have SCT... Don't think he's doing 44s liverys much but he's working on V-Sets paywere or else... Looking forward yours SCT...

I have been in Adelaide 2-3 weeks ago and visited the Pt.Adelaide National Railway Museum. While there I took heaps of pictures of the SAR 900 and SAR 930 among others as I already had started a SAR 930 body some time ago and I still needed good bogey pictures of it or rather to see how the bogies were build. You never know if or when I finish one of these one of these days as the SAR 900 and 930 had always been a big favorite of mine ever since I have seen these in Adelaide in the early 60s.

The 600 photos I mentioned from Alice Springs included the AN Class, CLP and CLF Class and all the Ghan carriages I have seen there off and on. As there are no plans, drawings or other details available of some of these locomotives, especial the newer ones, there are only two ways to get measurements. One is to physically measure these with a tape measure (which I actually did with all the Ghan carriages, funny looks and often stupid questions from the railway staff there) or to stitch segments of pictures together to get the height and length and other details to use as a template for modeling. All I knew of the SCT Class was its length, nothing else. Hence taking more pictures than probably necessary.
