Australian screenshots

Hey there,

For many months now I have watched this forum nearly everyday and have seen some spectacular work being done. I think we should all take a minute to thank all the contributors to both Trainz and especially home grown designers. In particular Davido and his inspiring work. However these creations do not come easily. We must show our appreciation to all those who create and release content free of charge. It is extremely generous and everyone, including myself, should consider donating to all these wonderful designers so that the wonderful world of Trainz has highly detail Australian content, the way it was meant to be.

Keep up the good work all users and good luck with all your future endeavours.

Cheers,
Michael.

Those points are beauties, best animated points i have seen so far and well detailed. In regards to the tracks used in the sidings they are by Alpha11 and are named RBMN shine the other called RBMN rust. The concrete track is Russian so are the animated points. The Track and points are on the DLS and come in the colour i have shown and a darker grey and there is a variety of options with the junctions. The are simple to wire up and set up and they look and work a treat worth the effort of getting.

Davido, you are amazing. :D

I love the track and catenary - it looks so realistic. It's made me more motivated to continue working on my route after being so annoyed at the things going wrong in TS2010.

I know its available from the site you listed, but its also on the DLS from where i downloaded it. The timber Sleeper track also featured in my shot is by Alpha11 and is on the DLS as well its called RBMN Shine and RBMN Rust and looks more Australian than the pommy stuff being used. and for the record i am using 2010. The points on the DLS are listed to Olegkhim.

All the best,

SARRailways, stop asking for the release of the V-sets. With the establishment of a new site for Davido's content, I'm sure we will see them soon(tm):D

Besides, he's released his catenary and new track, so we need something to go with it.:p

Matt, Im sorry for asking so much, its just the hype for these and the many photos we've seen, I cant wait!!

Go here: http://home.exetel.com.au/cws/worrybrook/

Or click the picture in Davido's sig. Don't forget to bookmark the site!

I also hope a lot of the gimmie pigs out there click on the "donate" button. Even if it's just a couple of dollars, the amount of work and quality control that goes into David (and Nat's, when he was still working on them) models is equal to (and sometimes, dare I say it, beyond) that of payware models. To get them for free is almost criminal, so I hope people chuck a couple of dollars down for the privilege, even if it just helps to support the cost of the bandwith required to download. Remember, Auran are not hosting his website, HE'S paying for US to download his content.

Thanks David, I've not had a chance to download it yet, but the website is looking good, and I look forward to having a crack.

I have to agree with mattm. It does get a little annoying seeing the gimme pigs carrying on like lunatics. Davidos 3830s items are and have been worth the wait. Yes he has let out his overhead but there are other items out there that can be used with it. The sky wont fall or the world will not come to an end because the V sets are not ready when you want them. There is a thing you may need to learn Patience. Good things come to those that wait. So learn to be patient like the rest of us and please spare the rest of us the constant request for a release date. If you dont like how long its taking to have them released you could always learn to make them yourself and do it yourself.

Great site and content David. :)

I'm finding it a bit hard to work out the Overhead Wiring, how does it initially work?

Thanks c38nsw
