Funnily enough, on the way home half an hour ago I had to wait for a train of grain hoppers, headed by a CLP and a pair of GMs in the above colours... there was also a passenger coach behind the locos, it must have been a long haul.

Seeing as I'm going puff tommrow here is a puff shot.

Very nice VinnyBarb... very nice indeed. Despite my own NSW bias, it's always great to see some attention to SA based content.

I for one will be obtaining the content if/when it is available.

Hi, thank you all for the compliments . The CLP/CLF Class is not confined to SA only, there are QR National versions of these up in Banana Land and the G&W and A&G versions are running all over Oz at this moment.

Cheers

The spirit of the outback continues.

Thought in the previous shot of Flinders Station and neighbouring Station Master's residence looked TOO bare... some subtle additions gets it looking more the part...

For something a bit different, from the road behind...

There is a few railroads in the USA that have the same livery and symbol (but with different letters) that the diesel on the right has. Why is this?

Thankyou, Chris

G&W from the USA own a lot of equipment in the South of Australia.
They operate trains from Adelaide to Darwin, and Perth to Melbourne. They even extended up the East Coast beyond Sydney Check out Google.
They are a pretty large operation now, here in Oz.
Cheers
