Australian screenshots

Thanks Ron,

Should give a big thanks to all the Queensland creators, making it easy to get the right feel. In particular dreddman, vinnybarb and especially willem2. Willem2. (bill) is helping create a numberof specific objects. These include rosewood station, yarongmulu signal box and some bridges.

I will post some more shots soon. Still a heap of work to do but coming along nicely. Any advice hints tips etc gladly appreciated. The route is set in the 60's so anyone familiar with era is very welcome to offer advice.

I agree the 423 does look a little ugly but then we in NSW are not immune form ugly looking locos either, are we.

PL class

The PL classes are a deadset disgrace. Ugly livery for an ugly loco is fitting I guess... :o (ducks for cover...).

Anyway, today's random shot comes from my own work. Going for a derelict/dilapidated scene on my Flinders Plains module...

Scott, you're mad! The 423, the PL and the 71 class all have their own unique charms. I personally love the 423 class in NRR/Interail colours - what I was referencing is that the Queensland members are lamenting the lack of Queensland locos - so I proposed we build one of the ones we pinched for use in NSW, and then paint it in a NSW colour scheme ;).

Just stirrin', mind.

they may have some charm but still they are not the greatest designs going round. I guess its hard making over an old workhorse and giving a pleasing modern appearance.

Good Evening All :)

A view of the modified AB car, which has just been put into service. This car was actually modified for use on the Deepdene Dasher service.

A Letters To The Commissioner Of Railways

Well Hello All.

A Big Hello To Mark Nolan,

I am a THE resident historian (and collector) of QR Steam Era; just email me or PM me. Just let me know what you want to know and I will deliver.

Oh I need to send a "Call To Arms" from Dreddman, Bill, Vinny, and couple of New South Welshman trainzers. I am thinking of doing the Wallangarra line and getting stuck into my DEM Brisbane Suburban after I fix the mapping errors in Gameplay!

Oh Pete; I did sent you those diagrams!!!!

Now my Work In Progress (since I got my Laptop back) and I did not know it's Queensland Week:hehe:

Hi all,

Nice shots from everyone the past week or so. Haven't done much trainzing this week, or i'd post a few shots of my own work. They're not really needed though, are they?:hehe:

Forest_Runner, with regards to your last shot, i think that you nailed the 'derelict' look quite convincingly, mate. Nice touch with the couch.

Cheers,

Matt.

Reporting; A Shunting Accident

I could have done better.....but I was in a hurry to get to the pictures?:o

Hey Ken Can You Please Email Me The Harlin Railway Bridge, I Think I might need it for QR Bowen & Future Projects such as the Wallangarra Line!

Bowen Shunting Log

Trainz89,

Can I just ask why in the bottom few shots there is concrete sleepers?

Mitch

Well Mitch, and please do call me Michael (Trainz89 is so passe :hehe: )

When I got my laptop back from ACER Sydney, I had to reload all my packaged content from my 'other computer'. At the time when creating QGR Bowen yesterday, I did not have QR 2m Embeded Woodern Sleepers installed untill today but by then I had already fixed the trackwork and its tiresome to just rip out all your hardwork for nothing but if that is what the public want's I will have to do it:confused: . At the moment I am focusing on getting the yards connected to the main system, getting a sales yards branchline, getting the goods and main workshop yards completed and then doing some Interlocking of points plus sempahore signals finally putting building and textures onto the board. I may look drab now but I have deafing attention to detail.

I think this route would be my best QGR route yet and I hope you guy's like it too:cool:

Michael, very nice shots
You do know there is a 'replace assets' function in TRS2010, just drag the asset (can't be bridges, tunnels, multiple tracks or trains) to the Asset to be replaced box (Left) and drag the asset that's going to replace it, to the right rectangle. Bear in mind if you change a track to a road you may have a few blocks in track-work!!

Is that Comeng Railmotor dreddman's??
