Australian screenshots

Here are some screenshots of a scenario i've been working on. It's an original creation but it is based very, very loosley on Brisbane and the track that extends along the coastline north. I am trying to create an entire history for the scenario. Progress on it has slowed because A) I can't download from the DLS at the moment, and B) School has started.

A coal train crossing the lake at Devil's Peak (A small mountain town with a coal mine).

Cowsgrazing.jpg

Cows grazing on a farm.

mountaintown.jpg

The mountain town 'Devil's Peak'. Devil's peak itself is right at the top of the screenshot, where the top of the mountain looks like two horns.

oldcarriage.jpg

An old carriage, on a disused, overgrown siding.

oldstation2.jpg

An old farm station. It was once a popular picnic spot but the creek next to the farm stopped flowing when it was dammed and so business stopped.

Oldstation.jpg

The old airport station.

More will come as soon as I get the DLS situation fixed.

I like the lean on that tree Will, it looks more real then some of the others just standing straight up and down. I know I have most or all of your houses, but has that one shown been released?

Great work again.

Actually the building is a State school by Greg Cash, kuid:96997:190021
There are a couple inbuilt in 2006. I think there are about 3 or 4. PM'd Zec Murpy if it was OK to upload modified Speedtrees. Still got no reply so uploaded anyway, so maybe this tree will make it to DLS.

Thanks Will, I will have a look for that as soon as I can.

Not sure how your trees will go, not sure if anyone (Zec) will pick up how they where made or from what ideas :hehe:. Fingers crossed.

All these TransPerth EMU's running around are starting to look quite a lot like the new QR IMU 160 sets. That must have been a fair re-skinning job!:hehe:

Actually, the Transperth BEA/BET/BEB class (or the 'B' sets as they're rather affectionately called here) came first, although they were essentially adapted from earlier QR designs, plus the earlier Transperth 'A' series two-car EMUs.

The QR version could therefore be essentially duplicates of the B-series, as apart from the livery and some minor internal fittings they're practically identical. I've heard they haven't been successful in Queensland though - something to do with the open inter-car connections.

Either way, I'd like to see one in Trainz - anyone looking for an interesting TRS project to work on? ;)

Another screenie from the project i'm working on:

industrialism.jpg

An abandoned warehouse overlooks a feild of dead-ish grass, and beyond that the chimneys of the industrial park, bellowing out smoke.

anybody understand this one

got this via email ?

Dear bearcat245,

The addition of your content file For_Wazzer.cdp has failed due to the following reason:

- No Valid Assets Found.

What the heck does that mean.

Enkidoh, I'm pretty sure you hit the nail on the head. Of what I know, they are similar in framework to the B's with the 160's modified further for the toilets as I said before. We had some of the two car Perth sets come through Mayne yard quite a few years ago and I got some pics. Came across them a while ago but not sure where they are now. Yes they were before the 160's as they have only just come out. It was quite a few years ago they came through the yard as it has also been closed for quite a few also. The only problems with the intercar connections is when something goes wrong. Instead of locking up just one car you lose three because there aren't any doors between. Makes it easier for the grubs to see the TSOs coming too.

is it 1210?

Well, if we go by current livery and number (I don't really see a cab side number) it can be. Like most, if not all of Pete's content is intended for 04-06. His c35 and carriage (the ones you see behind the 12xx) are betas, and for me (I'm running 09) have a few, no wait, make that alot of errors that need adressing.

Cheers

2010 would have more errors than 2009 wouldn't it?
