I guess that's what he (nearly) said :p
The only thing he can't control is when Auran will put it up, so watch the DLS
:)

And Peter,
your picture was almost perfect :hehe:
But I thought you needed the fence on the near side and to me the signal looked wrong. Did NSW use upper quadrant homes? I would have thought one of Nats NSW style sigs would have been more appropriate

But a really nice rural scene to set off a nice period train too.
Cheers
Rod

Thanks Ghosty
I knew as soon as I pressed send that I was going to get your answer :hehe:

Actually their is a difference and I should have said 2Pos Upper quadrants.
Those signals you showed were three position and I think the last of them just got replaced down here in the South in recent weeks.

That signal in Pete's screenshot was or looked to me to be a 2 Pos English upper quad signal. I have never seen them in NSW or Viccy.

I was having a little dig at Peter, because I really liked his pic :hehe: and I think Nat's signals are absolutely super :D
Cheers
Rod

Interesting Mr Cheif Commissioner............looks like a hacked Auran PB15 to me?.....so you do have basic gmax skills?
Well I beg to differ a little bit here on the B18 Do you have "Loco's in the Tropics" vol 2 in the archives? if so pages 86 to 96 deal with the B18 and I'm sorry to report that your a little bit out....in your design,
If you have managed to learn some basic gmax skills and hacked the Auran PB15 well n good thats how you learn !..........
Chapter 2......I Hate Steam Wheels
Now that the B18 Loco has become a project I have decided to redo the wheels for the B18 & BB18 1/4.
And while I am at it I will do a 3'6 set for a ng version of the B & BB
Here's a look at what I think a B18 looks like

Thanks SpaceMarine I got a few around here I see how I go will yell out if I need ......
B13 Length? width? Height? Wheel diamater?.............any IDEAS?

This is an absolute cack, I post a picture with a very unusual piece of rollingstock with so little information available that there are about 5 pics on the web, and we get a discussion about the loco and the signals, (very old layout, Nats signals were'nt made then and yes the loco is on the dls)

The only certainty was the size of the carriage frame and wheels because it was built on that of another piece of rolling stock I have modelled. So I built it based on the sketchy info from the pics and you all missed it:D

The PRH a pneumatic discharge cement hopper. I can find no mention of it in any rollingstock books I have, don't know how many were made, but it's nice

Ah just to let you know that "us" Ho modellers treat our Trainz modellers with equal contempt :D

Powerline got their new 48 Class in HO wrong. It is never going to go anywhere, because they modelled it with a tight handbrake hard on (look at the tight chain in their promos :hehe: )
But Peter I think you forgot the wheels with this one  It is only going to move on the top of a flat truck :(
eh? cheers mate
Rod :udrool:
ps Got to make allowances for us in the deep south All those little engines North of the border look the same to us!

Some good looking pics there again mate. Hope to be back in Newcastle to visit my parents in early October. If I can I might try and get some train spotting done.
