Pete, would you be interested in some measurements? We've got a NSW trike at the museum at PBR, albeit gauge converted to 2ft6in. However the main section (the 'seat' side) is still as it was when in NSW, so it should help :)

Been quiet recently, content to just watch what's been going on of late

What amazes me is some of the work Pete has done of late. I don't mean this to come off as a negative thing*, but Pete has advanced his content in massive leaps and bounds from the early days. He's always had a keen eye for details, and for producing things that are needed, but people don't know they were missing until he's made it. The fettlers shed, for example, is a perfect example of something I didn't know was missing. Yes, I've photographed c couple of them lying in various stages of disuse between Queanbeyan and Cooma, but it wasn't something I consciously thought "I'm missing something in my route"

Pete mate, please keep up the good work. Like all the content creators here, you're a true asset to the community, even though most of your audience is quiet and greedy (look at me, I don't say anything, just silently downloading and enjoying without sharing screenshots - that's only because their quality is rather... subpar).

What impresses me the most about the Trainz community, especially the Australian members, is that everyone seems to work so well together, and we have some very talented people working on content. It is not inconcievable that one day every major asset required will be avaliable in some stage. Just now I was redownloading the NSWGR Sheet Steel Wagon from the DLS in the interest of adding it to a steel train. Obscure wagons like this that some have not even seen or heard of before (some friends of mine got excited to see one on -NY3 a couple of weeks back, they'd never seen one before...), are avaliable for download, and in rather fine condition.

Anyway, I'll step back into the shadows now.

*Ie I don't want other creators thinking "oh what, so that doesn't apply to me?

Just because I saw one today, (someone getting married) up town.

Very little excitement out in the bush.

:) :) :)

Cheers,

now I've gone all shy

thanks for the kind words, this is a WIP an A6 pattern station building will match the A8 well. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a pic of one of those yellow destination boards:)

Want a destination board I made up?

If you want I could modify the list of stations and export a copy of it for you. You can then shrink it to size and convert it to .tga if you like.

Deadly, if you really are a true CityRail traveller, then you know that your model is way too nice and orderly to be a true CityRail destination board - it has to be painted over and damaged, with out of date stations and options on it. :p

In all seriousness, it looks so close to real life, I can't believe it. Well done sir!

A stretch Hummer, nice work Bill.

On another note, I've got a lot of bugs to iron out with my cars. I've begun rotating them, I've also had to make them sit at ground level, z=0. Damn you Nat.:p

Just a few shots from my other map

Broadmeadow Depot

3829 is eased out onto the turntable.

6042 and 6029 ease through Woodville Junction

double garretts blast through Adamstown with an empty coal train.

3829 and 3801 lead a domestic grain train south through Adamstown.

I have made a single and double track version of this. The double track has an extra 5 feet overhead clearance
The final versions also have embankments either end
