Hey Mulie,
What are DLS names for the brick buildings in the screenies?
They look just right for something I'm planning.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,

Thats intentional - its a closed spur line to the industrial area :)

Ha Ha! and so typical. The local council comes along and puts bitumen right over the tracks, so they know a train is never going to come, and yet the motorists still have to stop and give way to trains!
Its a bit like our Council down here. They think they might do some roadwork sometime. Some idiot comes out with witches hats and closes off a lane and puts up 40 k speed signs! 4 weeks later everybody knows their is no works going on, speed creeps back up to 80 kph and the workers arrive the same day the speed camera is set up.
Anyway nice shots :D
Cheers

Just to prove I am still doing things - A couple of different grain trains entering the flour mill (the actual mill at this stage is just the CWS flour mill with a run around loop...)

Now we just need some Manildra hoppers :P

The brick buildings, are FMA Abandoned bld 2 (kuid:149987:25585) and FMA Abandoned bld 5 (kuid:149987:255888). There's a few in the set, so you might want to grab all of them. They suited what I was trying to do well (just a shame there's no more like that).

Comtrain: Thanks for the comments, they're always gratefully recieved, and yeah - the track is meant to be closed and abandoned, but I just can't get the right look/feel for it (of course, there's nothing stopping someone from driivng a train along that line :P).

Eventually, said spur terminates at the (supposedly) abandoned shell depot, up around the corner. I've posted speedboards of 25km/h max on the 'branch', but it still needs work (as does the whole route). I might release it later as a yard route, for others to use as they see fit, and do what they want with it. At present, I'm not happy with the texturing, but the yards/etc are fairly extensive - got some issues with signalling and such, but hopefully these can be fixed and I'll get some beta-testers to give it the once-over, so I can fix up any niggling issues before its uploaded.

Nice pics Raichase and Muliebuck.

Slightly more north from the usual...

Every time I get a little bit done, I have a muck around and generally waste time... here are some examples...

Next time that farm features in a screenie, expect it to be completed.

Grasshopper, well done mate :D ! I go train watching on the Warabrook - Maitland stretch whenever I'm down that way and have to say your reproduction of the line is incredibly accurate :D ! Will we see the layout on the DLS one day?

Cheers,

Matt

I agree with what others have said, there's some wonderful routes being developed at present, and one can only hope, that they will be released to the DLS when they're done, and not before :)

You're the only moderator I know that is a content creator.

AJ_Fox is also a reskinner...

Alan_Yeomans is, not sure if he's a 'mod' these days though...

Bloodnok is a content creator...

Boco's made stuff...

Lost_Soul has also made stuff.

Rob has of course made content...

Tony_Hilliam has a layout and a session under his name...

So, maybe you should think before posting rubbish...
