Dark screenies

I notice that many of the screenies posted are so dark that it is difficult to see any detail. It is quite a simple matter to lighten the picture using gamma correction Here is an example of a modification of picture posted by 0099. I have deliberately overdone it to show what can be done.

Just thought I would post that these Channels have now arrived at the DLS.

Many thanks to Bill for these creations, they are great and will fit into our (Noel - nbrettoner and I) and many others layouts. I even found couple of items that I had not seen before :hehe: .

Now I wonder what that sign may mean :hehe: , as I am neither a father/grandfather I can only guess :hehe: .

Maybe a space between the words if they can be fitted in.

Craig

Hi Craig,

getoverit bridge (get over it)

It is play on words, "build a bridge and get over it" in other words if you

have a problem with something or someone deal with it, and move on.

My grandson (Ackazacka) likes it.

Cheers,

Bill.

Hi Bill,

Many thanks for all this work you've done. Yet another 'niche' in the
Trainz armament filled. Between the likes of your good self & say VinnyBarb,
& other like-minded people, several niche areas have been filled :).

Don't they all look great!.
That screenie shows just how busy you've been, & how much variety you've provided in this series.
The upcoming 'extras' will be made good use of too Bill. Wonderful!:)

Happy Birthday to

Hope you have a great day though I would think you may celebrate this day more on the weekend.

G'day Craig,

I think I remember seeing them myself down here in Vic, but can not get a clear image of what they look like. I could build it for you, but would need some pictures to work out the dimensions

Tom :)

Hi Tom, sorry I had not thanked you for the offer of help but like I said I could not find a good photo/image of one either. Then Bill was able to come up with one. Some of these signs would also show something about a Rest Stop and how many KM/meters away it was. To do that though would not be easy.

Hi Craig,

Would something like this do?

the sign is 2.5x1.9m.

Cheers,

Bill.
Again, many thanks to Bill for another great creation/request. This sign is now on the DLS.

hay guys where do you get sydney terminal?

There are no availible ones but you can either go searching the DL/S and make a look-a-like or start learning GMAX.

WAIT ! I think i remember someone was actually doing Central station ? It was you pete wasn't it ? But this was a few years back:eek:

I have a mock-up Central using what was available at the time inc. part of the tram circuit. Its on my HD somewhere.

Tom

thanks Craig/Bill.

i celebrate the day whatever day it comes. this time i have managed to escaped Coffs Harbour and have for the week relocated to Newcastle to be with family and friends for the big day and a few days down time.

cheers

Ghosty

P.S. and no i dont feel any different just a year older or wiser.

Happy Birthday Ghosty,
I reckon that Coffs Harbour is a nice little place. We stayed there for the first week of the June/July hols (Queensland ones so a week before the bunch of rabble flooded in from NSW), and we went up to to Dorrigo through Bellingen first. Whilst in Bellingen we took a pleasure cruise down the river in kayaks for an hour. Up in Dorrigo we had a look at the railway museum they've been trying to build for a millenium. I got a leaflet while we were up at the station - 7 MILLION BUCKS they've spent on acquiring the stock. Bloody hell, you've got to be utterly devoted to trains to fork out that much dough. But they've got everything - from small tanks right up to the AD60, stem to electric - hell, they've got a bloody complete XPT set up there! The cost of transporting it all would've been astronomical. Hats off to them, guys, they're the real deal.

So happy birthday Ghosty, once again. Hope the day works out for ya!

Cheers,
Hayden Lynch
