Cheers Mick.

Morning All,

I haven't had much time to post on the Forum, let alone play or make content for Trainz due to personal life changing reasons but before my departure for a while I'll be releasing two new pieces of content which are the 1950s Seating Shelters from Darra Station (Ipswich/Caboolture Line) both will be in Original & 79' Electrification Era, still a WIP keep in mind.

Being lucky today, I did get the chance to do a small bit of work in my Pinkenba Branch.

All bar X36 were fitted with a booster on the trailing truck with visible pipework beneath the cab. The booster gave an extra 9000 lb/ft tractive effort from 39000 to 48000 lb/ft.

Were there any visible features of superheating on the X class?
Not for superheating. All Xs from new were superheated.

The first batch of 12 Xs (27-38) were built with roundtop fireboxes, and no modified front end (one exception, X38 was built with a roundtop firebox, and modified front end). Later built locos were built with Belpaire fireboxes, and modified front end. The first 12 were subsequently rebuilt with modified front end, and then belpaire fireboxes (note, some retained roundtop fireboxes with the modified front end!).

X35 and X36 were built without boosters on the trailing truck. Later X35 was fitted with a booster, however X36 was not.

There are some visual differences for the modified front end. Specifically the addition of smoke deflectors, and replacing the elegant 'gorton' funnel with a flowerpot/bucket funnel.

See this page for a bit more info, along with photos, on the Xs :) http://www.victorianrailways.net/motive power/xsteam/xsteam.html

Best wishes guys on this particular day, "Remembrance Day". The day we remember, those men and women who sacrificed their lives, so that we could live in peace.

Newcomer to T:ANE after being a fond user of TS2012

Taking some Graincorp 48s on a quick test up and down Junee yard on grazlash's ARTC route. Apart from some dependencies I can't seem to find, its a great route!

First off, I'd like to say "hats off!" are some brilliant screenshots by everyone and, secondly to answer you're question H222. I more than certain will be producing a 'single sided version' and, thirdly thank you Roy for you're concern. I'll PM you later on mate!.

I did get a little more progress (as can be seen around Meeandah) of my Pinkenba Line, which is based in the late 1980s - Early 90s' which to add I've recently added AJS Invisible Station's to the platforms as well some speed boards & signals which are currently in testing stages. I do have future plans to extend to Doomben :)

My first home made rolling stock model with 3ft 6in bogies, and probably the first WA narrow gauge model made for Trainz in about 10 years I think.

Looking forward to creating more!
