Val, There are a couple (pun) of driver commands you can use to de-couple various units from a consist.

I notice that you have 'UnCouplez From' listed which allows you to select whatever unit you want. It uses a '0' for the unit closest to the loco, then 1, 2, 3, etc.

There is also a driver command 'De-Couple Number #' which starts off at 1, 2, 3, etc.

Also, there is 'Uncouple All' which uncouples all units from the loco.

Check it out mate.
Cheers,
Roy

Cheers Roy,
Yes I have tried the UnCoulzFrom where at first it confused me...simple simon haha. Thanks for clearing up the #'s 0 to whatever. Never knew 0 was closest to loco. Now I do. Have sent off a bug report to see if the big boys can solve the issue. Bit odd really as it used to work fine...now suddenly stopped working.

I'll check over the alternatives as suggested.
Val

Good Afternoon,

These are some WIPs for my latest release for the Queensland Route Developers. I'll be releasing a 90s & Current Version of the QR Carpark Signs which are situated across the network. Below are some early release photos. The textures used are created by you'res truly.

Regards,
Lachlan

Thank you for making them; they will come in handy for the QR City Train Route. I will post screenshots when I install TANE on my new laptop which arrived from Sydney and get back into content creation. My old laptop will not launch trainz but I can still make content.

Release of content will commence shortly; The first batch will be my QR Semaphore Signals & Evans Cars.

Regards
M.G

Thanks Val! I don't do any enhancements to my shots. It's all in the environment settings and (if I'm not feeling lazy) the manual post processing settings.
cheers
Graeme

Great stuff Graeme.

It's obvious, everybody are highly impressed with your layout mate. You've created a true work of art.

I'm really looking forward to the day when I can take a run on it.

Cheers,
Roy

Thanks Roy, not too far to go now, under 400 baseboards for both routes. I'm now working towards Locksley on the North east route. Hopefully the new hotfix allows me to merge again!
cheers
Graeme

Hey all,

The last batch of Victorian Railways VSX/VLEX/VLEY is on the DLS, next batch will be V/Line VLEX covering 1984 through to 2000, however it might be 1 to 3 months before I upload them.

Cheers.

Currently trying an experiment on the BP, the idea is to have the doors named as passenger so they open and close at stations representing baggage loading and a script to control the door for industries for freight loading.

Cheers.

To answer that question from my last post, yes, I'm completely redoing the Wadalbavale Line in TANE with the help of ATD. Hopefully you should only just recognise areas!

I don't know much about scripting, but some time ago on a TS12 session, I used the full range of IKEA assets that were available on the DLS.

There were 4 GBS units that were animated for loading and unloading IKEA pallets. Maybe the script on those could help.

Gbs IKEA 1,<kuid2:189041:110350:1>
Gbs IKEA 2,<kuid2:189041:110351:1>
Gbs IKEA 3,<kuid2:189041:110352:1>
Gbs IKEA 4,<kuid2:189041:110353:1>

ATD is excited to announce it has received permission from MSTS/Openrails creator 'superheatedsteam'/Marek to modify his new NR class for TANE. The NR class are one of Australias most recognizable modern diesels and a must have for any PN intermodal services.

Evening,

Are you referring to williamg's Queensland Rail Electric Multiple Units?. If so, he has two variations which a set is on the DLS and, the other is on TrainzLuvr.net.

Regards,
Lachlan

Not a lot of interest has been shown for the past few years on QR rolling stock; and it's a real pity.

I'd done a bit of checking and by the way, all the QR EMU , IMU & SMU that are currently available, have not been updated to T:ANE build level standards. Only one has QR 3ft6in gauge bogeys and only one has opening doors.

Williamg - QR EMU (3'6" gauge & non-opening doors) + QR IMU (STD gauge & non-opening doors) are both build # 2.0
alby6 - QR EMU (STD gauge with opening doors) is build # 2.7
Pev - QR SMU (STD gauge & non-opening doors) is build # 2.5
Psycho_aussie - QR SMU (STD gauge & non-opening doors) is build # 1.5

I've also looked for a good set of 3'6" bogeys to make a few swaps but found none that look right.

I'm not qualified to create new units,.... so it seems we are stuck with what we've got.

I believe that if there were some good QR rolling stock available, then we may see an increase in quality QR routes. If we don't have the stock, we don't have routes.
We've seen it happen in NSW and in Victoria with heaps of quality rolling stock being built by several creators, and now, we see several great Aussie routes are being constructed.

I hope I don't step out of line here, but is there anyone who has what it takes, to look at Queensland Rail ?

Cheers,
Roy

EDIT: I did a little more searching and found a 3ft6in QR 3900 Class bogey which fits the QR EMU units. I have to say it looks much better than the blocked-in bogey on it previously.
