G'day everyone, lots of great shots over the past week. Been busy building and have just finished basic detailing to Springhurst and started laying track to Bowser and about to lay out Uranquinty's roads and yard.
Just a few from me.

Pity there's only a limited amount of Eucalypts available in Speedtree. I would love some Mountain Ash. :(

Great shot Mick. Looks good mate, in fact there is some really nice shots from all. Well done guys, keep it up.

Graeme, as always, looking good, coming along very nicely.

Cheers,
Baz.

Hi all. Is there anyone that has good Catenary wires and poles as seen today? If anyone finds one thanks and steve123 nice tunnel models :)

It was a big day in Redcliffe yesterday, when the Redcliffe Peninsula Line was officially opened by the Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull. Because it has taken politicians 130 years to actually get the trains to run, it has to be an historic event.
Every man and his dog came out to take a free ride from Kippa-Ring Station to Petrie and back and I've got to say it was a very smooth train-ride.

However today, on 4th Oct 2016 commuters will have to buy a ticket.
Here's a couple of shots,....

While the train was pulling into Kippa Ring, three guys dressed as London 'Bobbies' did circus acts to keep the crowd happy.

A rare event to see 'Redcliffe' displayed on the desto-board.

Roy.

I feel real sorry for the Politicians as they will have to think of something new to promise [and Brake] at the next dozen Elections.

Ha Ha,... you're right. Now that we have our train service, we don't need anything else. No doubt, they'll think of something to argue about.

Cheers,
Roy
