TRS2022...no mention of Build numbers required. That is why it is as clear as mud. Had I known that my particular build did not support the DLC I would not have purchased the DLC. Simples. "Trainz Plus Trs2022 Trs2019 SP5+" No commas no differentiation, just a line with no clear sign of builds required. ...That last one, TRS2019 SP5 equates to first iteration of Trs2022. A bit nebulous. No? We ll I got stung . and was told too bad when I complained about the lack of clarity....Again, the advertising is not as clear as it should have been, otherwise I would not have purchased the item. Yes? No? Still want to defend the "Clarity" of the advertising? Another way of putting it is if it can be supported in TRS2019 Sp 5+ then it should slide right into TRS 2022.
In answer to your question regarding why I don t have the latest build, well I did go ahead and purchase TRS2022 PE. I wish I had not. The fact that u cannot zoom into the yard full of points to change them while in Driver, was a deterring factor. The S 2.0? Meh...Taking five clicks on the mouse to get the same result as one on earlier builds. HD in surveyor...How many Gigs of storage and Ram one needs is out of the question. Efficient? Nah. TRS2022 PE will sit in a storage folder together with Dovetails Trains. To gather e-dust. I will stick to TRS2022 Build 119451 SP2. I have learnt some very expensive lessons. Again a warning to any prospective purchasers of DLC, you need to have the latest build TRS2022. Something that should be clearly stated on the advertising page, but isn't.
Been around for over 20 years and I would have preferred the basics to be fixed, emissive lighting, prototypical precipitation effect and a realistic looking skybox, not something that looks good in mario bros. Oh and an AI that is actually intelligent....Still waiting, but hey ho...High Definition in surveyor! How many gigs of computer power required to run and store that little beauty? Anyways I am off on a tangent. Thanks for your input pware, cheers now for some rum and coke.
