Australian screenshots

Australian Screenshoters, are we a community? Or are we actually going to waste our time posting negative replies to people?

Maattmessi17, welcome to the forum. Please don't be put off from posting here - I'd like to stress that we're a friendly community and negative posts should not be tolerated. Please do remember though that this is the Australian Screenshots thread, so it is for posts relating to screenshots of Australian trains or routes, etc. If you have any questions, maybe just do a search for your question on the forum or even in google before you post. Enjoy your time here. It's a great game and a great community.

Now everyone can get back to what the forum is all about. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekends. Please remember to play nice.

Sorry guys i am watching the fights UFC

Regards steve123

WOW! This is very nice work Steve. It looks like a very large asset and I would assume it to have a length of about 3 baseboards.
But, I'm not familiar with sketchup or its workings, so I don't know what 'slow-down' effect this would have on a relatively small layout. I was anticipating building a route including Redfern / City Circle / North Sydney & Waverton and I had no intention to expand the route any further. So would an asset like this work in T:ANE or would it be better in TS12?
I do like the idea of being able to see activity from the harbour towards Circular Quay, the Bridge, Milsons Point and North Sydney. I had even thought of running a little bit of shipping and maybe a helicopter.
If it's workable let me know and if the bridge is Payware, then I'm happy to contribute.
Enjoy the fights. Cheers,
Roy3b3

Patchy,

Do you know what those crossing signals that you used at Goomeri on the Kingaroy-Proston Branch are called? I would love to use tham on my route.

Kind Regards,

Lachy

Why not just download the route and find out yourself? Open up surveyor on the route and click the 'get' tool under building objects. Not hard.

Guys, what should I do,
I want to purchase Davido's V sets, but as the proper site isn't up I don't feel safe purchasing it.

Please reply letting me now what to do, also check out my channel daily uploads till Christmas mostly trainz videos

You can't anymore, they're not available.

Also, trainz videos, unless they're showcasing new content or extravagant, great routes, are rarely popular. This isn't FIFA where people love to watch goals. You do what you like, you don't need us to tell you buddy.

Sorry guys i am watching the fights UFC

Wouldn't have been a long watch :hehe:

H222, at the end of the day i feel some what ripped off, but looking at it this way between the Boxing and the UFC that i watched on Sunday for 6 or so hours that cost $49.95, i could have purchased
a Loco or two from N3V and still had change and the Loco's. My wife likes watching the UFC so happy wife happy life.

Its just a shame that most of the UFC fighters after a few years will not be able to spell UFC

One of the cheapest hobby shops, yet very good hobby shops http://mrrc.com.au/ they are at Blacktown NSW, a 21 pin decoder for HO 6 function $57.00 others shops ranged up to $80.00 for the same.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge works better in T.ANE but it boils down to your computer hardware, i have a route with the Harbour Bridge set up somewhere on my computer which is the better way to set it up,
the bridge has the Catenary fitted all you have to do is merge it to your route and at the end of the day if you are not happy just delete it.
the Bridge was payware but all i wanted to do was to make my money back for the software i had to purchase, i still hold all copyrights on my version of the Sydney Harbour Bridge that i built in Sketchup.
The bridge is made up of 7 to 8 section.

I do have a more update version than what is be floating around as i have come across it in a few places it shouldn't be and it was removed.

If you want it Roy just let me know

A few from me, First we see a QRN Freighter to Sydney, second is the CRL Containerised Grain set, and last is the SCT train to Melbourne :
The day is to get busier on the Main line with multiple grain fleets set to head back towards the port. With some over a distance of 50km's it can take some time to get to the port due to the other trains running!

Cheers
David

Hi Steve, With my lack of knowledge about 'content-creation', then downloading your Route would be a far simpler exercise for me.
My intentions are purely for personal use, possibly a few screenshots for the Forum and never for uploading to the DLS. As I mentioned before, I'm happy to pay you for your expenses. I'd appreciate it if you could email me direct with any links.
Cheers,
Roy3b3

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is free to anybody that wants it for there own personal need without making any 3 party money from it or claiming ownership of it.
I am working now so i'll try to get it before to long, i have to go out tonight at 6.30 pm but i'll do my best Roy.
I will go through and edit my big route and take the Harbour Bridge out of that it is much more detailed than others it will take longer but it is better.
cheers steve123

Evening All,

A quick selection from myself tinkering with a few missed details on the QR City Train Sunshine to Nambour, dating from the final years prior to the Elimbah to Beerburrum Duplication and Deviation. Time period from 2003 to 2005, the classic years.

Recently reactivated by the latest leasing company on the scene 'Parramatta Leasing Company', 4902 makes a miraculous comeback to service and is seen here leading sister SSR units 4904 and 4910 on a bulk grain consist.

Additions to the unit include cab air conditioning, full length handrails, ditchlights and 5 chime Nathan horns at each end. Rumors on rail news websites such as failpage suggest that the PLC may have acquired a number of other locomotives, including X,Y and L classes that are currently being reactivated.

I have edited N.S.W Sydney Central Station inside and outside so this is just an update that will need to be submitted.
There is also a few other assets of mine there.
Please remember it was all made in Sketchup so it is higher poly count.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge Route is 6 base boards in all. It was built in Sketchup
Download includes the bridge up to 8 section, 2 dual Tunnel faces, 1 dual tunnel track will need to be placed, Water pipe,
You will need Davidos Catenary and wire spline.
Nippon Guardrail2
Fence CMesh 6

This file is for the roads and paths on the bridge.

Hi Steve, Thanks for the downloads. All of the supplementary items path, road, water pipes, tunnel installed okay, but the Sydney Harbour Route opened with a few missing dependencies. The Pylons, bridge supports, and Archway didn't appear (see screenshot).
