Australian screenshots

Wow, seems I need to step in here again...

Vinnybarb, there is absolutely NO reason for you to start attacking people who make comment on models. Especially when they are trying to provide constructive feedback. By releasing your content (free or pay), you are opening your work to comment/feedback.

Sadly, it's actions like yours that make it near impossible for those of us who DO wish to improve our models to find good testers and feedback because people are too scared to comment...

Regards

HI fellow Aussies back home after spending 4 days in Hell (Bell NSW) - the zig zag is a total mess - will be a while before any trains run between Lithgow and Mt Vic - got so hot melted the copper contact cabling of the electric overhead in spots - at home now for 24 rest and no idea on whats next after that.

And just for Mick some how found our truck, crew and myself assigned to CFA taskforce 0200 for the last 3 days and got sworn in as honorary mexican

Got the odd photo the impact of the fire on the rail infrastructure I might post some place later

NSWGR_46Class,
Saw some pics on FaceBook the other day. It is a real shame the damage has been done there by the fire. Was sad to see the old 2000 class QR RailMotor there burnt out. Very sad. Best wishes to all the people down there and hope they can make something better out of the ashes.
Regards
Glen

Hello Gentlmen,
Glen, I share your thoughts on being dejected as I am currently @ Zig Zag Railway and by gosh, it is a like a nightmare. Railmotors burnt out - I toured a few of the burnt ones and they are shadows of their former glory, workshops burnt, carriages either burnt or guttered. Honestly, I have never see this bad especially all the hard work that the men and women of Zig Zag have put into their efforts to get running again, as of last thursday they were on the verge of their first weekend run as they had cleared by the transport regulator.
Just having a somber thought while sitting on the front runboard of DD17 1049 while typing this. It could have got alot worse but thankfully those who saved the parts of history that mattered. My thoughts from myself all my members of staff @ QHR wish everyone to stay safe, support those local organisations that are helping out and may you hope that things slowly return to normal.
Regards
M. Gitsham
QHR Chairman & Acting Chief Executive.

What he meant to say was "typing this in Brisbane and unaware that everything I type no one believes".

OKAY THAT DOES IT, I've had enough of this issue, pleeeease STOP IT, it's getting annoying. And for the ZZR, IF ANYONE wants to find information about the Zig Zag Railway, please go to their official pages.

Back to screenshots.
Before what's his name (Sorry, but I forget) made his Surfside Trams double track based, I tried to change the Sea World Depot such as this such as adding a tram wash:
1. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5336/9333904941_ad05ec8509_h.jpg, or

Adding ashpits
2. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2836/9336694404_b289c0f61f_h.jpg,

Adding what ever that thing-a-mig is on the left holds!
3. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5453/9336697878_b6a172c5ac_h.jpg

4. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7329/9336710958_25d1370597_h.jpg

It's not really the best, as it was my first attempt.

Good Morning All
I have removed several posts regarding the ZigZag Railway. We won't tolerate people making claims about 'representing' or 'accessing' the railway either by 'pulling strings' or without permission, unless they can prove they were doing so with permission from the railway.

However, for news regarding this unfortunate setback for the railway, please visit either their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ZigZagRailway or their website: http://www.zigzagrailway.com.au/

There is a discussion thread for the railway here as well: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?106307-ZIG-ZAG-Railway-victim-of-bushfires

Looking south towards Wyberba.

Anyone heading to the Trainz Special Event this Saturday at Ipswich Workshops? If so I'll see you there.

Red.
Just a question about one of the pic's, is there a reason for the Cable Car track attached to the Carriage wash ?
Yes, that is based on the Melbourne tram depots, and was the closest track that resembles it.

See (now if I can just find the picture of the depot I used - I forget again, I think I used street view - goes and looks)
Edit: Here is the Street View: http://goo.gl/maps/TTTIm So the cable car track is the closest that resembles whatever that groove is for. I would say it is a drain.

Sorry about forgetting your name NormP.
