Australian screenshots

G'day Jamie, if you look closely the pilot and bogies have some yellow under all that grime, and the roof does show some green. I would say the thing just needs a bit of weathering, other than that its pretty damn close ;)

I thought that was the weathered version Steve. It looks dusty and the dirty BL's I've seen had a practically grey roof And black pilot

1986 BL, I think the Black Bogeys might have been when they where Broad Gauge for running in Vic and Yellow in SA for Running in South Aust on standard gauge.

I Think Steve might be talking about the Yellow Steps, but the bogeys where black, here's some more.

Yes gang, you are right, I rechecked my many pictures of the ANR BL Class, there are no yellow bogies on these. Easy fix, I substituted the black early version BL bogies for these. However, the sloping sides of the roof of the ANR green/gold BL Class seems to be painted green only, it might appear dark grey or such with dirt/grime on these but as said, they appear green in colour in most pictures I have. The ANR green colour I possibly might darken a shade, more like to what the picture of the "Bob Hawke" BL Class below shows. The green colour I used on the ANR BL Class so far was similar to the ANR DL Class I created some months ago. Would that seem right?

But then again, the only picture I could find of a grey sloping roof was of the "Bob Hawke" BL Class showing grey on its sloping roof.

Also, the yellow double stripes on the front and rear of the cab and their skirts were usually painted on the ANR versions as my screenshots and my signature pic below of the ARN BL Class show.

FYI, unless I get corrected by a convincing argument or picture(s) showing otherwise, the rest will stay as is :p.

Great screenshots every one, especial patchy's. They seem so life like. Well, since this is a screenshot forum, a few sneak peaks of the early version G Classes and the BL Class. At least the BL Class ANR version shown here (just click the thumbs for a large pic):

excuse the numbering, still needs to be implemented plus some other changes/fixes. The early version of the G Class VLine:

and finally another screen of the BL Class ARN version:

All have the early versions of the BL/G Class bogies, which also still need some fixes, like the black bolts on the bogey hubs among a couple of other fixes still needed.

Hi VinnyBarb

I know that they didn't have the yellow bogie's but can you dirty them a lot more and release them as an extra if people want to use them.

I my self love the look of them,

} OK so they are not Proto but hey its a sim and i like to be different, and mabye they could be used on other Engine's. :) {

I intended to release these early version yellow BL bogies anyway, no problem to upload an extra dirty yellow early version BL bogey , as the same bogey is used front and rear.

VB, are you planning on modifying the sides of the pilot so theyre angled rather than square like the late model locos? I find the pilot to be the easiest way to tell the early and late models apart.

Btw, your recent DL and G models are fantastic (as we've come to expect from you).

Ahh... I see what you mean, I only noticed this now when you mentioned it here. Easy to be fixed while I still work on the BL Classes. Early VLine G Class with angled side skirt below, where the Vics "persuaded" Clyde to release a patch of ANR destined BL Class locomotives for VLine as G Classes:

Thank you for the nice comments, although some here think my created locomotives look like "toys".

Hi Vinny,

Look like Toy's, LOL'ed, Powerline G's look more like Toy's, minimal detail, large flange that where you run on Code 75 it jumps around on the tracks, I wonder what's going on with Austrains G's I've heard so much about, hopefully they'll do some ANR BL's.

Cheers.

Ok guys, this is supposed to be a screenshot thread, not real life pictures :)

I have been totally blown away by the talent lately from all, just some stunning work being produced by so many.

Cheers
