patchy and Ghostryder, excellent work by both of you  :udrool:

I wonder if we will ever see a Brisbane to Cairns route.

Also while I am here, best wishes to those caught up in the floods in Northern Queensland, I hope everyone is safe and well.

Thanks

i still have a ways to go with my work, as those that have been following more than likely have worked out is that the majority of the rails are laid from end to end, they get adjusted as new information comes to hand. as can be seen i have been working around corinda taringa indooroopilly milton, and some work around Roma St which i have not shown yet as it may change.
even though the lines well advanced and i can and do still need help so anyone who lives in the Brisbane area i still have a few areas i need some basic puictures of. if anyone can help contact me off list.

Cheers

Ghosty

Went down to Wadalbavale today, to find this scene in the yard...

R711's tender at the moment. I wanted to see if the lining would match everything else (and 711's tender seems to match most other content :) ).

Maglev?

S301...

The two Trainz in that screenie Look like, There floting just above the Track. Could just be my eyes...

They do look like they are floating. This is because that track is broad guage, and the wheel set for standard gauge :P

Looks good Zec, obviously knowing your standards, a ways to go yet. But it looks much better in the blue rather than lollypop :p

Just remembering Peter C was asking about colours for his re-born SOP cars. You will have to give him the details, as I think what you have there is as close as we are going to get. Pete's test colours look chalky?

No the colours aren't, but you wanted gloss(which tends to lighten colours a bit), also the colour in trs is totally different to what shows up in paintshop so dont worry to much, they are actually quiet darker than they appear in screen shots.

Ah G'Day Pete
I have been trying to get you on Skype. I was really thinking out loud with that post :) However as you are doing an upgrade on the SOP cars, and it is likely to be hanging off the back of Zec's Streamlined S, I would hope the two match colours exactly as in the prototype. Zec is checking stripes with the R Class repaint he did, so you could do the same? As well the carriage roof height / profile match the roof profile on S tender, and S Class (DE) as well.
Lets not forget we are also doing Charlie's upgraded B Class and most probably an upgraded S Class DE.
Cheers

Looking nice Peter!
One of the SOP vans was converted to a maintenance car and painted yellow. It has now been returned to its original condition by Seymour Preservation, So any pictures you see of B74 and S302 during the run of the two anniversary specials to Albury should help with your paints.
Cheers
