Love the look of those LDP's!! Vinnybarb has really done a great job on them, his attention to detail is fantastic. However there is a couple prototypical rivet counting things that have caught my eye from those screenshots

The LDP's never featured the camera on the long end (That's an SCT thing) and the other rivet counting thing is the fact that they never got that dirty whilst wearing the EDi logos (Don't get me wrong, I love the look of it, however prototypical speaking it's not correct unless someone can prove me otherwise). Put some QR National logos on it and the weathering would be right at home
Nonetheless, fantastic work!
Cheers,
Tom
Thank you for the heads up and the "rivet counting" info, yes these early LDPs were not as dirty initially as these were Demonstrators after all and had to look reasonably clean. Having said that however, I have pictures of them when they got their QR National logos while still in their black/blue/off white colours (LDP 003 was the first, the other 2, LDP 001 and 002 received their QRN logos much later), where they are obscenely dirty. I don't know about QR National, why they don't clean theirs, it seem their locomotives only get washed when it rains up there in Bananaland. Check out ANY of their QRN locomotives running around anywhere and you will agree.
In contrast to SCT Logistics (Specialised Container Transport), they seem to look after their locomotives, a few of these SCT Classes are passing my backyard fence a few times every week. They are as reasonably clean as they can be and they seem to regularly go through a washing bay. Similar to their new CSR Class, as I have recently seen around Adelaide's Outer Harbour wharfs, delivering minerals for shipping overseas.
Back to the LDPs, these will be on the DLS in a few days, possibly after the weekend. They were build for TS12, configured for TS12 but received a build number of 2.9. Which means they should run in TS09, TS10 and of course in TS12. Also, I left the Auto Numbering Script with the LDPs intact, it is the same as with the SCT Class. Which means you can assign any number from 000 to 999 but PLEASE, when posting screenshots of these Demonstrator LDPs, PLEASE number these LDP 001 or LDP 002 ONLY.
LDP 003 with its distinctive QR National logo will follow a few days later to the DLS, as well as a clean(ish) version of these LDP Demonstrators and a "sort of" dirty version of the SCT Class, which is almost finished. After that the WH Class, to get the black/blue/off white units out of the way, followed by the Eagle look paint scheme of the QRN LDP Class. After that on to the PN TT Class etc.......
Cheers
