Attaching catenary spline to track in S2.0

I've been trying to search and find a way to attach a spine of catenary to track in Surveyor 2.0 but I've not had any success... My google-fu is failing me today.

Is there even a way to attach a spline of catenary to existing track or am I going to have to do this the hard way?

Hard way, I'm afraid. That is, choice of paralleling your track with catenary spline(s) or replacing the track with a track asset which includes the overhead, then adding support structure (which, ideally, should consist of trackside objects). Trolley wire is not too hard using the second method; I made a half-donkey'd system of catenary in TS2009 but it results in curves without pull-offs and doesn't produce actual catenary curves in the vertical plane.

I recently tried the attached-splines container but apparently this is one of those things that was killed off in recent Trainz versions unless I'm doing something wrong.
