Ashtabula County, Ohio

A close up of the streets, they are still not exactly how I want them, need to play around with more cars and different fences and bushes, but we are getting there. :)

Next section...LOOPY!

I personally think this section looks awesome! And will be really fun to model. Especially with the river winding through the trees and the road bridges etc... I'm genuinely excited! :D

Any suggections? Just incase you were wondering, I'm persuing the south bound Bessemer & Lake Erie Line for a bit, see where it takes me ;) My goal is to get to Albion at LEAST. Its 10 miles as the crow flies but I reckon about 15-18 miles track.

Does anyone know what sort of coal cars they are using?

Thanks

In the real picture, they look like class H62Rs. I saw some BLE coal cars at RRMods rollingstock page but they are white with a black vertical stripe.

Flippin' Rulers! :O

Took me ages to get this area accurate height wise, changed the time of day so you can see the shadows, this area will eventually have more trees and houses on.

Awesome! :) As you can see, I'm from England, UK and I was just messing about on google earth, I zoomed in randomly, found this place and did some research... got a little too into it :hehe: , and now I'm making a route :D it was mainly some beautiful pictures of the trains chuntering along the river that inspired me... looks stunning here!

Thanks for the kind words!
