Article: Stay up to Date With N3V Games

11

Thanks for your NO help. I tried helpdesk when I got 2006 and 2010, with NO responses (the desk must have been out for a nooner.). So they never worked for me. With TS2012. I asked for help through the "Forum" and received no helpful responses. In fact, since I have had access to "Forum", NOBODY including me, has provided any technical answers to ANY technical questions that I've seen. I cannot believe the million of Trainz subscribers have absolutely NO questions, and all their sims work perfectly. I started a couple of forums, but apparently they couldn't get over the equator because they never showed up in any form.

I am thinking a ad warning prospective subscribers placed in MODEL RAILROADER magazine might turn Australia right side up??

Wow, what a load of bullcrap.

You said you asked for help on the forums? Nobody has been able to help you because the only time you requested for help with TS12 (with one post) came in the form of yelling at everybody, not providing any useful technical information at all and posted in an off-topic Trainz Driver (Mobile) thread. You see the little link called "New Posts" up there? Click it. Normal people ask questions every day - ranging from why are the wheels on my 4-8-0 spinning so quickly to how much does it cost to buy a friggin train - and they get answered right away, all the time, every single time. No, neither I nor anybody I know has ever had the sim work perfectly for them from the get-go. Which is why we all came here like mature adults and resolved it.

Tell you what, George from Idaho; post your whatever problem right here, right now, with all relevant details and we'll get it sorted once and for all. Otherwise, shut up, take your whining and move on to somewhere else with "better" support, Railworks maybe. N3V doesn't need troublemaker customers like you spreading lies about them and/or stereotypical jokes about their country.

I agree with Nicky. You have made four posts and none of which were in an appropriate sub forum for a request for assistance.

This is mostly a community forum where members help each other and for the most part it works very well. If you have a question, ask in the most appropriate sub forum, state the problem clearly or as best you can, and try and be polite. Yelling at members and being rude or offensive is not going to get you any answers.

For the record you can download assets from the Download Station for Trainz versions going back well before the unsupported versions and definitely TS2006. See here and go to the Download Station tab.

Dear ?
I wish you had included your name, such as I have. At least, it appears that someone else out there is reading/responding to the Forum. I will not shut up.
I put out a plea on the forum asking for help from a subscriber(s). No replies were received.
I purchased Trainz Railroad simulator 2006 years ago. As a railfan, I thought this would be an excellent way to enjoy creating and operating railroads. It had promise. I was excited for the produce, but I had difficulty getting it loaded, and never got it operating.
I am a reasonably intelligent person...BUT...I am not a computer geek or guru. I had to rely on Trainz to support my entry into the use of the simulation.
Trainz in its communications (manuals, etc.) seems to make an assumption I know exactly what they are trying to communicate. So after trying to second-guess what I am to do, nothing worked. I wrote Trainz 2006 off in frustration.
Along came Simulator 2010 after a couple of years and I thought perhaps it would be an improvement. It was, except for the understanding of instructions again.
It too never was run.
So, at your suggestion, I will be gathering up as many notes as I can of issues I faced and were not resolved, and will be submitting them to the Forum.
The suggestion of Railworks will not work, because I have been aware of the comments and problems their subscribers are having and complaining about. That wouldn't make sense to my sense of intelligence.

While you are in contact with the help desk ask them to correct your user name 'it should be 'gauge' not 'guage'

Peter the original "narrowgauge"

Peter the original. I will be happy to do as you requested with the use of the moniker "narrowgauge." Apologies for the duplicate use, and misspelling,
'something-"something"George

George

The way you have used 'narrowgauge' is OK, I was just concerned about the spelling. It is obviously up to you, if you are happy with it then forget my post, after all it is only a name.

Peter

Peter:
It's OK with me to give up the narrowgauge name. I came up with another one that is more inclusive of my love of Colorado Narrow Gauge and Standard Gauge and it'll be changed over as soon as the "helper district" gets it changed, or helps me change it. Of Course, I expect that my Trainz efforts will blow up in a minor explosion when first I use it!
