Hi Caddylars, it's nice to see that families and trains can mix. Here is my daughter Charlotte a few years ago with the Hogwarts loco.
and here is a similar loco in Scarborough. Charlotte is now nearly 14 and will not sit on this loco for her photo taking.
Since I took this picture ALL the Harry Potter stickers have been carefully removed!

An after thought, one for the diesel guys
This was taken the same day, and top and tailed the last train of the day with a class 20, before going back up towards Bristol. The loco was in Fragonset livery two weeks ago when it arrived

Its actually Bethlehem, PA on the eastern side of the state. the furnaces in the background are all from the now defunct Bethlehem Steel plant that used to be there.

One thing I noticed with those video`s John (and Craig )
Don`t you just hate "welded" rail without that old "clickety click", sound tracks were much better with fishplates.

Just a few from me taken on this Sundays' Dalesman train from Hellifield to Carlisle and back (via the Settle - Carlisle line). This was the last of the summer Dalesmen this year, but more are planned for next year. Hope you can travel on one!

some of them are quite effectful (word?), the one at purfleet where the train is out of focus, but the ground is clear, is actually quite good!

As we arrive into Upminster the 321 and D stock had a race as can be seen by this shot.

Now at Upminster we get on a 357 for our journey to the capital.

I don't like taking photos on the underground so my next one will be from a train passing a 66 but i can tell you I went form Fenchurch St round to Tower Hill where I got a D stock all the way round to Ealing Broadway where I got a 165 Non-Stop to Paddington
As we past Acton Yards I took this shot of a 66
