Anybody know about this site to download Trainz 10

Hi kmver,

Welcome to the forums.

For TS2010, I'd strongly advise buying it direct from N3V if you are able to (N3V's shop site is http://www.simulatorcentral.com).

Reason why is that there have been patching issues for other digital download versions of TS2010.

Shane

It's your choice. I got both as boxed sets and they arrived reasonably quickly - I think within about 12 days or so. I much prefer to buy boxed software. With that said, N3V/SimulatorCentral is pretty good about their digital downloads and problems are relatively rare. N3V uses excellent-quality DVDs in their boxed software if that helps.

I don't know if TS12 is still on sale, but I bought TS10 in a package with my first trainz and something else (Rail something or other) for about 15 bucks at from N3V. I am giving 2 of them away, have not decided if I'm going to install TS10 or not yet. I snapped up 2 copies of TS12 when it was on sale. What a deal that was!

Cheers......Rick

Why would anybody go through a secondary site, or Steam, to download a N3V Trainz program ?

Do not try to pinch pennies to save money, for you will pay for it in the end run!

Get it straight from N3V, or some place reliable like JointedRail

In my Newsletter I saw TS12 advertised for $ 9.97

What newsletter?

Currently N3V is 50% off so TS12 is $25 digital download and that's what I'd go with. A First Class ticket is probably worthwhile as well as there is a lot of content available on the DLS. You can pull it in for free but you are limited to 100 Mb including dependencies which makes it awkward to pull in a route and dependencies.

Cheerio John

Dang, I should have waited a couple of days! I think you get the best deals at N3V. I have to start checking the shop out more often.

Cheers....Rick

I debated gatting a FCT and after slow downloads, decided to get a lifetime FCT. Worth every penny!! Now the downloads are FASTER than the installation of assets. I'm finding tons of things to download on the DLS!!
