Any tricks for texturing? - Vents

So, to avoid adding any more triangles in my model, I`d like to "paint" these vents on the texture. I`m using Photoshop.
Like these ones:

(Sorry for the huge image)

Anyway, if someone knows any techniques to crate them, or has any file that`s painted that way, please share!
Thank you!:)

Oh wow! Thats exactly what I need. In the right color as well!
Either explain to me how [I guess you made one vent with the gradient tool and then duplicated it (?)] or send me the file.
Thanks anyway!

Sure thing bud, glad to help.
Let me finish up with a little something I'm doing and I'll shoot you a PM (or post, let me know which is preferred) with what I did so that you can adapt it to your project.
Can't wait to see the finished project, it sounds promising!

Anything would do (PM or Post) although I guess a post would be more usefull for other people looking for such a file.
Here`s a peek into what I`m building:

Why bother doing anything when you already have an excellent side on photo of exactly the vents you want?

Seems the easiest way would be to cut and paste it to the skin. Then just get the colors to match up and blend in etc...Or better is use the grey photo you posted. Make a transparent vent layer that just shades the skin layer, that way no matter what color you make the skin it'll work automatically.

After all that, remember to post pics of at least the finished product. Curious to see what you end up with.
