Any good commuter rail routes?

I want to find routes that have a lot of stations so I can run passenger/commuter operations. Preferably in the US/Canada. The ones on pacific trainz have missing assets so does anyone know one with not many missing assets?

Dave Snow's Cotton Belt and Alma Valley fit the bill very nicely. The Cotton Belt allows for long distance, but there are lots of stations. The latter is a bit move compact, but has lots of towns. Since they're from the DLS, you can do what you wish with them including adding additional towns, or rebuilding the existing ones.

Are you able to run Alma Valley, John? I can run the default session if I don't try to take a screenshot. The instant I try a screenshot I get a CTD. And I can't create my own session, as once I assemble a consist of any kind and then try to drive it, the instant I hit go I get a CTD. Beautiful route, and I had to replace on payware bridge and one payware tree, so maybe my subs are causing it...

I have no issues with the Alma Valley route. I had a couple of missing dependencies, but I deleted those and didn't notice the difference. There must be something else wrong with your content causing that.

If I do anything with the route in earnest, like merge it into my version of his Ozark Valley which I updated to work in TRS2019, I will remove those consists from the route its self and put them in the session instead.

You might want to try that and see if that works, now that I think of it there have been issues with rolling stock located on the route causing sessions to crash for some people. I've been lucky I suppose in this case.

Re: Alma Valley - There were a couple of missing d's in my install; a bridge, some rolling stock, not sure what else. The missing bridge combined with missing pieces of consists trying to move through it would cause the session to stop. I also was missing some parts of the consists in the main yard so those would fail to move. When I deleted/replaced some of the problems and just ran custom sessions, no crashes. If the consists from the session are saved, they can be re-introduced into the route and are nicely configured to interact.

The session is a great showcase, only my missing d's would pretty much stop the action after an hour or so. The route is certainly a gem.
