Annoying surveyor

I have TRS19 build:117009. Every time I open Create Route, there's PBR Grass 8 Seasonal as a default and I can't delete it?
And when I click Show Wireframe, I get white layer with black wireframe instead grey background and yellow wireframe?
That annoying black and white wireframe disappear when I zoom out. How can I get that yellow/grey wireframe that I used to?

You can replace the region you are using with others on the DLS that have the grid. I agree, the grass is annoying and makes terraforming difficult.

The alternative to substituting the region is to search for grid in your textures.
Select the grid and set the size to the smallest and paint the baseboard or fill an area with the grid.

Thanks for the reply... Now I have that traditional grid. It makes setting up the track so much easier and more accurate.
Why they didn't include that basic grid in the game in the first place, I don't know.
It never occurred to me that it would have to be downloaded separately. All I had to do was download
<kuid2:661281:120000:1> Grid Region and problem solved.

Why they did this, I don't know but the community came forward and fixed the problem for us.
