Can Anisotropy settings affect the sound in a game? After running my route (TS12) for a couple of hours, I start hearing an intermittent hissing sound, coming from either my locomotive or a passing A.I. train. It's like (pardon my poor example) "Hissss-Hiss-Hiss-Hissssss-Hiss-Hisssss-Hiss-Hiss". I think I had this problem a couple of years ago--- I even posted a UTube video on this forum somewhere, but couldn't find it.
Well, Anyhow, I had changed my video settings a day or so before and wondered if I did something there that caused the problem to resurface. I had moved my Anisotropy setting one notch to the left. I moved it back one notch to the right and my noise problem seemed to diminish. Could that in some way had caused my problem? I can't understand how Anisotropy could affect sound. Anyone out there have any ideas?
Thanks
