Am I missing a dependency?

Trainz POW MIA
I had downloaded a multitude of Steam Locomotives from the DLS, by User: Cincysouthernrwy, and I see them in my CM, but for some reason they will not populate in my Surveyor. Am I missing a dependency of some sort. I did not see anything listing a specific dependency in the content descriptions... :o

Check them in content manager - you may see a red or yellow jigsaw piece, or a red exclamation mark against them - right click to list errors or dependencies.

If they have a red or yellow mark by the side of them r/click and view errors+warnings also check deps.

I have tried to get his steamers running, but there are dependencies missing that I can not find anywhere.

Hello. this is for his B&O steamer 0-6-0 1197. Kuid 45588:1197.
The kuid's that are missing are,
39730:60000
39730:60002
39730:60003
43955:54005
Thanks for any help, and if you find them please tell me how you found them. I have looked high and low.

Concerning these dependencies for Cincysouthernrwy, might there be a couple of KUIDs that cover most of the Engines, or, is it common that each individual engine has a handful of its own dependencies that need to be acquired. I think this will determine how much effort I am willing to devote to this...

Hi all.
First off, Ladywind, I am sorry if I monopolized your thread.
OK, I went to this site ( thanks Euphod for the reply )

http://www.malorny.de/vrails/dl-trainz.jsp

and found most of the missing dependencies. I just downloaded all (except the manuals ) and that left 1 missing, the hornsound. I replaced that and the loco works, sort of.
The engine seems to run OK, but at idle it sits there with the wheels spinning. I think it needs a brake job.

Hi

If the wheels are spinning, do this (make a backup first (if it goes wrong)).
If it goes wrong, please note that you should only do this at your own risk!

1. In CM, right click the loco and click on `View Dependencies`
2. click on `View in main list` and look for an item that mentions bogies.
3. Open the item for edit in explorer.
4. right click on config.txt and open with word or notepad.
5. Press Ctrl+f and enter anim
6. You should now see: anim "anim.kin"
animation-loop-speed 1
Delete these two lines.
7. Save file and overwrite when asked.
8. Close folder and commit the highlighted item (or item showing hammer and spammer icon in black)in CM.

This SHOULD now work without spinning wheels at a standstill.

Regards.

Hi capt. Thanks for replying.
I found 5 different bogie listings, unfortunately none have anim.kin or animation loop in them. One listing did have this for errors.

Warning: Aliased meshes cannot currently be verified by Trainz.
Warning: Progressive meshes are no longer supported by Trainz. Though these meshes may work in Trainz, it is recommended that you switch to a LOD mesh.

The others were error free.

Is this the correct link? It was Caternaries and Signals. I downloaded them anyway, just for giggles, though.

If I have time this weekend I will see if I can download the files and take a look myself. Then I can tell you what to do.
