AI won't go uphill

Hey all,

The AI won't go uphill...no matter how light a consist. I am using the subpar productions generic locos and was wondering if the compatibility issues with 2009 might be an issue. These engines only have problems when the AI tries to go up any grade. When I'm driving in Cab mode I have no problem but when I go into DCC mode it won't budge? any suggestions?

AI uses the DCC mode for control. You should check the max-accel and max-decel values in the loco's enginespec motor container. Compare the values in bad locos with locos that work and try some changes. A lot of the enginespecs that worked in 2006 are bad or sluggish in 2009.
