adding junction levers

Hi All

I'm a newbie to Trainz so if I seem naïve please bear with me

How do you add a junction lever to a route?

I've run into turnouts missing levers and if you go through them the wrong way......instant derailment

also in the AI mode a route can't be connected from point a to point b if the junction lever is missing

Switches are in the Trackside items, search for Switch and some should be there.
