A Tribute to... A friend.

SantaFebuff

That's So Trainz Forum
I had a great friend on the Bachmann Forums. You know, the model train manufacture? They have an online forum like these Auran Forums. That was where I first started completely on the Internet. If you ask me where SantaFebuff came from a guy who love the Norfolk and Western, and where did I start, there it is. Bachmann Forums. A kind of "home" to me. There was a great man there by the username of YampaBob. His real name was Bob, and he had turn about 70 years old. After a few years, he taught me so much, his time he spend on the forums with me lead me to everything I love about trains. I got so far into it because of him. He even told my Internet-shy friend, "Any friend of Josh, is a friend of mine." Sadly, he isn't there anymore. His eyesight is so bad, he isn't even on the computer. I pray he's okay, but fear the worse. With that, I made a loving tribute. I made it for railroads, but found out, it's more properly put as a tribute to a friend. *pause* I really got a bit emotional there. (:()

I just thought I'd share it with you.

Gesture to a Friend

I'm sorry to here about your friend and wish him well, the time you spent creating your 'Gesture to a Friend' to whom shared his knowledge and guidance is certainly admirable.

Tom

Thank you Tom. I just got word late yesterday that he is still very bad with his eyesight, but he is still kicking. He and another member exchange written letters, and he'll let him know we miss him. :)

Cheers,
Joshua
