A Stock Trainz

Hi camroc33,

Can you add some specificity to your question?

Basically, what are you asking?

Most of us in the Trainz Community are not mind readers, although exceptions do exist.:)

Have fun,

Sorry i was in a rush. I ment the london underground train A60 train stock that runs on the metropolitain line in london. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Nope I don't think anyone has made that yet. The only subsurface stock available as far as I know is Andi06's D stock, WEN's C stock, and my O stock (early days - not yet exported). I do have drawings for the A stock if you feel inclined to try your hand at making it yourself.

Great!!!! Someone's actually making some O stock!!!!! I really need this, and am not skilled enough to make it for myself. I'm really looking forward to it, and am very gently prodding you to finish it as soon as you are able.:udrool: :udrool:
:mop: :mop: :mop: :mop: :mop: :mop: :mop: :mop: Help, I need more mops!!!!
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

bird_d00,
Can you send me your O Stock or put it on the DLS please? I would very much appreciate it
Eric

Not advised, as it hasn't been exported.

Then again, I got a T stock DM on my PC, 1959 stock DM on my PC and an F stock DM on my PC, yet again, these have not been exported, so I wouldn't ask for them, unless you know what you are doing in max and willing to finish them off.

OOPS!

I think I thought that exporting simply meant it was finished. My Mistake. Ignore my earlier posts. Thanks Wessex and I wish you luck with your F, T, and 1959 stocks!:)
Cheers,
Eric

Very very far from finished I am afraid. Bogies nearly complete but lacking textures, no shoebeams yet and just the basics of the body. Trying out the animations for the opening doors.

Don't suppose anyone knows the original moquette pattern used on the seats ?

I think I could survive with the seat material being slightly wrong.....:hehe:

I know its of topic but the route in your photo looks like liverpool street on my route

Maybe that would be because it is (Circle Line from the DLS). Not the most detailed route in the world, but the only subsurface route I have. Was looking forward to your new one that didn't make the DLS. It could do with some 4 rail track though from VSR maybe, otherwise how do the trains get their power ?

Thanks I had already seen that webpage, and they don't really look anything like. There were (I think) 3 patterns used, a stripy one, one with diamonds and another that doesn't really look like anything much, see the screenshots below, but what were the colours ? Bear in mind that the B/W film used at the time would not be orthochromatic so blues would look very light and reds very dark.

Hi,

Yes, seen that also thanks. That is how they were re-upholstered, probably when converted from Metadyne equipment to PCM in the late 1950s, so that would make them CO stock. I have some good colour shots of that pattern, but was hoping someone might have some shots of the original fabric used. Probably too early for colour photography to be common though, and it would be pretty unlikely for people to remember the colours after all this time.

Hopefully I can produce the CO/CP stock later (and maybe R stock also) but have to finish these first, and its' taking a while - lots of new techniques to fathom out.

The O Stock looks great!
I was wondering if I could beta test this please when presentable?
I know someone making the A stock
I have seen pictures of it and it is highly detailed.
She is planning to make every train on the LU

Dave Bird, as you can see, there are quite a few of us clamouring for your O stock train!
I desperately need one for my Widened Lines project, so I hope you will finish it as soon as you are able.
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

@Mick_Berg you shouldn't be asking me (with the quote) you should ask bird d00 as that is the creator. As I can see it looks like a bit of time until it is done:)
